Huh, do you have the AZ vaccine in mind? AZ is an adenovirus vaccine, Sinovac is an inactivated virus vaccine. And yes, AZ sucks. Sinovac is not that effective too, but is old and proven to be safe technology.
Thats a big statement saying AZ sucks ? Is that based on personal experience fact or just your hearsay ?
If your saying AZ sucks because of the problems with the rare bloodclotting thenas most people are saying the good outweighs the bad and as it still being used and reccomended there must be a little traction in that fact.
Persoonally any vaccine is better than none but again thats my opinion.

Red list vary from country to country..
EG from UK there will be a differnet red list to that of France or America as its government driven.
Which country are you basing the question from.
If its the UK then go to the Gov.uk website then type covid red list countries.

Despite a highly successful vaccine roll out, Britons are not be allowed to travel overseas. The new excuse is "variants".
Where is the actual link saying Britons are not allowed to Travel overseas ? There are already britons overseas including myself that have no travel restrictions from the country im in.
Also Britons can travel if they have a valid reason certainly not for specific holidays but the statement above is incorrcet in the fact that Britons can travel overseas and continue to do so as long as they have the required paperork or necessity to travel.

Sure about that?
Thai road fatalities indeed horrendous, but still prefer to drive there than the UK which is all single carriageways and dawdling pensioners. ????
So in the whole of the UK there are no motorways and no Dual carriageways only single lane roads when was the last time you were in the UK the 1800's and the standard of driving in the UK is much better than that of Thailand, which also cuts down on accidents and deaths.

I believe you have to have the PCR test before actually travelling to Thailand as you do with the Majority of countries. This may change but as now i believe this is still the requirement. Along with the multitude of other paperwork you require to enter Thailand.

The way I'd look at it is, do you see any reason that the prices would go up & the offer would not be extended / enhanced?
At the moment, it's low-season, very few tourists in and out, Thai's aren't flying back so I can't see a reason for an increase in numbers/price.
Hanging off may bring a little further clarity re positions in both countries.lol sorry but i found this hilarious at the moment its low season so very few tourists in and out.....did you think before posting that comment. I would say it is more becasue of Coived there are no tourists and it wouldnt matter if it was low or high season there would still be little or no tourists.
I would say when things are getting back to some kind iof normality and there are a rush on flights prices may change.

I thought if we were only air side and not landed then we weren't classed as entering a country regarding red zone countries?
If you are going inot the Terminal then it is still classed as RED as other people from that country also use the terminal. This is what we were advised and we had to switch to travelling via Turkey.

I think you will actually find that its not s farce as you now have to pay for 2 day and 8 day testing before you can submit you Locator form on the government website. If you dont fill these forms in then you also are subject to fines and forcibly paying fir these tests at the Airport (currently around £200 to have the tests delivered to your home to self administer).
These rules are compulsory even for people travelling from none red zone countries as our guys going on vacation fly through istanbul.
Checks are being carried out at UK customs and some flights wont let you board unless you have the above paperwork printed out to show before boarding allowed.

Sorry but there is clearly only 1 dick here. What dont people understand about the fact that the vigil was against covid protocol rules and cancelled but people still persit on breaking the rules. The relevance of who killed the woman has no impact and as such shouldnt affect the way police control the situation.
Thats the trouble with the UK the Police are to soft and as such people carry on how they will as they know nothing will happen. Maybe we need to change and take action as that in Mynmar against protests and Hong Kong when they were transitioning.
Everyone quick enough to bash the police who are only doing their job. All these people think they are exempt from prosecution should be fined and no sympathy for the ones dragged away by the police.

So I won't bother. Let's see how long this comment lasts...
OK so clearly you are against compulsary vaccinations is this all compulsory vaccination or just covid. Through our lives there are vaccines that you take and accept these are compulsary but nothing gets said.
People throughout the world have to take compulsory vaccinations or they cannot travel to certain countries ie Yellow Fever dont hve it trvelling from certain african countries then you cannot fy to certain other countries, yet no 1 complains about this they just get on with life.
Personally i think its all over rated get it and travel dont get it and stay at home its your choice.

Why should those who are vaccinated be able to travel ?
Nobody has proven that vaccination does not mean you cannot be a carrier ? You might be asymptomatic but able to carry and pass on to someone else.
Quarantine and PCR testing has to remain in place for 2021 for everyone........vaccinated or not.
Why shouldnt those that are vaccinated be able to travel ?
So where do you live then. I imagine your 1 of these peoiple already in Thailand that hasnt got a care in the world doenst want to have PCR tests when your doing your extenisons and doesnt have covid specific insurance.
But make sure everyone else has to be PCR'd and do Quarantine what a totally selfless attitude you have.

Richard Barrow, apparently well-meaning, often whips people up into a panic based on his misunderstandings. Clearly, it would be absurd to require a Covid-19 test for extensions and it's not even what the regulations he's quoting says so this is obviously another one of his brain farts. I don't know why anyone takes him seriously.
Why would it be absurd to requrie a covid test for extension ? People on extensions exempt from catching covid are they ? If people coming into the country have to have insurance then eveyone in country should have insurance. If people coming in need to show valid negative PCR test then stands to reason that anyone already in the country should have said test.
What a ludicrous thing to say.

Hey, up to you.
Many people in western countries from Thanksgiving thru Xmas had the same thinking.
Just meet with family eat, drink and be merry whats the harm.
Now, 1000's are dead or in hospitals because of their naive stupidity.
Maybe people are just getting fed up with all the do this dont do this maybe you can do this or maybe better not to do this attitude of the governments that cant make their minds up.
Doesnt boil down to naive stupidity the virus has been around over 9 months now and no one is naive everyone knows the risks. Youve got people sitting at home moaning about people gathering in groups and yet they were still sending their kids to school i would say that was more naive stupidity but they would argue differently.
Everyone should be able to make their own choices. Be done with it and if you catch the virus then so be it.

Sorry but your talking <deleted> there. It will be anyone with a British passport regardless where they are in the world. You simply wont be allowed to book a ticket when you have a british passport. There would be to much other problems if they tried any other way.
I could fly to dubai have acouple of weeks holiday there then get a ticket to thailand so technically im a british traveller from Dubai.

Six suffer partial paralysis after inoculation with Sinovac vaccine
in Thailand News
Posted
Lets be realistic here you are never going to get that guarantee from any hospital. If thats the way you feel then your only option is to either make sure you have covid insurance or jump on that plane go back to the UK where you can at least get treated if you qualify for the NHS. Ohterwise pays your money and take your chances, get the vaccine dont get the vaccine.
The choice lies with the individuals.
Im in the same situation where i am and our only option is to pay and have the injection privately which is what has been done.
Sinovac was 1 of the options needless to say none of us that got vaccinated opted for it funniliy enough.
