I don't think it's quite correct to say that people won't come here because they have to do 14 days quarantine. Especially if you want to stay three months. Most tourists anyway need to 3 days to recover from from the long voyage and jet lag. Many of Thailand's leading hotels have  multiple restaurant swimming pools and even a private beach. I stayed in the leading hotel with my friends just north of krabi it had a private beach speedboats many restaurants several swimming pools a lot of activities we stayed there for two weeks without hardly ever leaving the hotel just relaxing and having a good time, quarantine hotels like this will not be a problem for visitors/  but I would agree that small hotels far away from the beach would not be conducive to quarantining in

Obviously you are missing the point as the current Quarantine is exactly that QUARANTINE in your room for 14 days only being allowed out for fresh air for certain period. Food delivered to rooms and certainly no use of the hotel facilities.

How the hell can you compare that to 2 weeks in a normal resort with no restrictions ?  Never mind hardly ever leaving the hotel ....lol   oh lol oh lol

Quarantine is none of what you have even hinted at ?

Seriously is that waht you think ?

It's simple,  anyone entering Thailand, or anywhere really if they are infected with covid19. Their going to have a high temperature. Just scan everyone at customs.  High temperature,  sorry can't enter you need a covid test and maybe quarantine. Job done cheap and painless.

Who says the yare definetly going to have covid if they have a high temperature absolute boxxox. What about asyatic people that show now signs or people with general high temperature due to other causes ?

And if thats the case that they do have covid then is it 14 days in hospital quarantine or shipped off back home. Considering most people are being tested before getting on flights this should never be the case. It should be stopped before you get on flight due to the fact youve already been tested.

This will show up the undetected positives. I personally think everyone should be tested both before departure and on arrival everywhere.

Find the countries who lie about their infection rates, will be easy to do, especially with a cheap and quick test.

It wont show up the Undetected positives in fact the very opposite its an antigen test and Antigen tests are faster but generally more likely to miss positive cases of the virus than laboratory-based molecular diagnostic tests.

It will likely miss positive cases so not excatly a great deal of good.

Yes, of course. Naturally a group like EU is shaking because one country is making problems. ???? Time to stop live on old war stories. Oh, by the way, you would never had made it without America anyway.

What an absolute load of <deleted> we would never have made it without America...you my son are a dreamer. Great Britain has never needed america .

Where would we have never made it without america.

As to your comment about the EU shaking you are quite correct with all the Bale out money it has to pay tor EU countries that can do nothing for themsleves. GB has just started the penny rolling and it will come tumbling down around the EU just give it time.

Again your putting your head in the sand comming up with non issues like a true denier.

I showed you that average death rates show much higher numbers. In those numbers are already your flue complications. If you can't understand that then I will stop talking because you just arent bright enough.

Dam we have it in writing that you going to stop talking lets see how long that lasts

Covid is a virus that sadly we are going to have to get used to some people will die from it many won't. No use bitching about it get on with life. You could walk out the door and get knocked downa dn be dead. You could live in Thailand and have more chance dieng from a road accident.

You could catch other viral disease that may or may not kill you....examlple HIV some get it and die some get it and dont.

Personally ive worked the last 7 months straight in a country that has little or no incentive as to what covid is and people dont really care. Thats my choice and if i get covid then so be it if i die from it then thats whats to be.

I agree, but remember this is State Quarantine while tourists will be in Alternative State Quarantine which appears to be slightly better.

have to lol at your optimism but Quarantine is quarantine be it State or Alternative your not exactly going to be allowed to use hotel facilitys so it has not impact which 1 you in.

Still locked up for 14 days

  9. Ddint they pick this up when you applied to your local embassy for the COE and all other valid documents required before they will let you travel ?

Normally you have to have the authority from the embassy before you can officially book a repaptriation flight. At least thats the proces in the UK.

Or did you simply book a repatriation flight without submitting anything to local Thai Embassy ?

Metal frame, and metal or fiber panels for exterior walls on a concrete foundation. Then create a airtight envelope with plastic. Air con inside.

As Don says use something like sandwich Panel(No need for Cladding or extra panels) and C Channel for your upright structure, normal roof all metal framed normal concrete floor. This is the method we are using and have used for a few years now in hot weathered countries with no problems. Really this is the next step up from Using Iso containers and their is no need to use CCM blocks or anything else these structures are fit for purpose. Another alternative for Sandwich panel would be SIP's but unsure of availability of panels within Thailand. We have a company currently in the UK producing SIP lodges for all year use even in the UK.

    Hope this Helps

That is a very uncharitable post. She wasn't FM for the first vote so she didn't lower anything. What she is now doing is leading the most popular party in the country. The polls for the SNP reflect the faith the electorate have in her leadership and the support for independence reflect the majority desire for change.

Please check your facts before opening your mouth and letting the brown stuff come out.

In case the link isnt allowed then have pasted below.

    https://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/scottish-independence-voting-age-lowered-today-1569880

The broadly supported change will allow younger people to have their say in the independence referendum, due to be held on September 18 next year.

MSPs will lower the age limit while passing the Scottish Referendum (Franchise) Bill at Holyrood.

The Bill sets the voting franchise in line with normal parliamentary elections, applying to British and EU citizens registered in Scotland.

Qualifying Commonwealth citizens and armed service personnel in the UK or overseas, who are registered in Scotland, will also be allowed to vote.

Promoting the reduced voting age earlier this year, Ms Sturgeon said: “No one has a bigger stake in the future of our country than today’s young people and it is only right that they are able to have a say in the most important vote to be held in Scotland for three centuries.

“In next year’s referendum, Scotland’s 16 and 17-year-olds will be given the opportunity to shape their country’s path by choosing what type of country they want Scotland to be.”

Still happy to say no lowering of ages were made for the Referendum ?

Uncharitable or not im entitled to my opinion and as its factual i dont think its so uncharitable.

I think they will eventually change this attitude since it seems they will continue the 2 week quarantine for the next year or two or three until this pandemic is over.  No one will come here for only 30 days if they have to quarantine for 2 weeks.

Is there any proof that or statements saying that they plan to keep Quarantine for the time length you have stated or is this another case of mis or no information.

    Surely not.

52% v 48% was an overwhelming majority in the case of Brexit. Will of the people. Democracy. The people will have spoken.

The people of Scotland spoke the first time around after she lowered the age to vote on the independence referendum. She lost but isnt going to be happy until she is known as the woman that brings Scotland down. And yes i am Scottish and think its ludicrous to allow a second vote. Whats going to happen this time if she looses wait a year or 2 then try for another vote. Getting boring now. Maybe Corona will come her way and do us all a favour..
