I cannot blame the Thai's for potentially having a low opinion of foreigners when foreigners like this are roaming around Pattaya. Everyday it is something ...... the list is endless .... fights, jumpers, bodies in freezers, drunk n disorderly, not paying bills, theft, fatal motorcycle accidents, drownings, drugs ....
Nothing their not accustomed to hearing about their own kin though !

It is also possible that guidance be provided by HM in his speech this Friday. That may be the only way forward.
Dependant on who writes the speech ?

It could have been anything. I doubt if the person had a phobia of intersections. Unless they freeze at every major intersection.
He'd still be at the first one then !

Likely a reflection of a very, very rough culture and environment.
Akin to why it was deemed necessary to issue the Chinese "guidelines" on how to behave when abroad ?

Amazing how a "notorious" and "infamous" group appears to have been well known, by everyone. for ages, for illegal/criminal activities...... except the RTP.
Wonder if the "proceeds" from their forced but tardy action will balance out their "earnings" from previous in-action ?

If it's really easy. then it's worth doing . In my case, I thought it may be useful regarding paperwork as we have 2 kids.
However, having got all the paperwork in order with the aumper. was directed to the Ministry of Foreign affairs , to get photocopies of passport endorsed. who then directed me to my embassy in Bangkok to get my passport certified as genuine,
So I haven't got one. as for me it's just not worth the effort !

Then other visits when the staff had to fill in an online form, attach copies of ALL mine and GFs papers. Come back next week with boss of my village. Did so and on Friday last got the Yellow Book after the online form was re-submitted.
Got pink card on Monday, then thought, why do I need it? Yesterday I had to send something via Flash and they needed my Passport. Gave them my Pink card and hey presto, it was used within 24hours.
Now what can I do with it?
scrape the ice off your windshield ?????

British inflation lower than expected, so Bank interest rate will not increase, so Pound less attractive to investors.
More to it than that. GBP gaining against USD today, yet still falling against THB, as is EUR . YUAN, however has shown a sharp rise against THB.

I was also considering some close version of that, thanks. As it stands, we have just received a call already, that we will get a visit tomorrow morning from the mobile police crew. Seems I might get my chance then, and likely late to go back to the office.
I've never heard of anyone, at least that I can remember, successfully appealing the conclusions, intermediate or final, of IOs, but that might be something I might try to figure out how to do. My sense is all good should come out in the wash, if they examine my record. But, I like to be prepared for the worst.
As it's your first application in Korat. I can imagine the IO there are trying to cover their own backs. Perhaps they feel the need to check your freezer for body parts first !

Out of curiosity. how many have turned your dinner date offer down?
The "obsessive" traits of those that accept are likely fuelled by their awareness of the competition out there.

And the next (Move Even Further Forward) Party may have more sense than their leader not disclosing shares in media companies? And keep "shtum" about making changes to a certain Thai "Constitution"?
Unfortunately. I think the sensible and not far-reaching amendments proposed earned MFP many of their votes.
