Intended, or not, the FACT is by criticising a spelling error, then that, by definition, is being pedantic. Keep trying to justify yourself, if you wish, all readers can see/judge for themselves. Have a nice day.
No criticism thus no justification required.

Mayor of Pattaya should honour him for attempting to stop the tarnishing of Thailand's image !

Mate, there was NO humour in what you originally said, as for the rest of our discussion, I simply replied to you.
Cobber. there was NO intended pedantry either, so let's just leave it at that and smile eh ?

There is one slight rip off with Agoda. If you pay now you'll pay the exact price as expected. But if you choose pay later they will charge you in a currency that they choose to use, sometimes USD some times Yuan or whatever, AND add 5 per cent. I don't mind the currency fluctuation, but the additional 5 per cent is not made clear and hidden somewhere deep in the terms and conditions which, forgive me for not reading top to bottom.
If you pay by card, you are offered the choice of which currency you want the booking to be charged in.

This is an Agoda thing. I went to book a hotel in Bangkok and Agoda showed a good price until I went to pay and they added ++ taxes and service charge.
Went to Booking dot com and price was fully inclusive of all taxes so much cheaper in the end
You can change to show/view the total price in Agoda on the main page before starting to book.

And someone really needs to stop being pedantic. Geez what is the world coming to, when we start picking on a spelling error, on a forum where we speak multiple languages. SMH.
Oh dear. somebody seems to need to lighten up a wee bit perhaps ? Hardly pedantry, apologies however for any perceived offence.

You give them too much credit. They are creating committee but that means nothing. Hell they will spend 2 years arguing about who is in charge and should they have hot or cold drinks
Err. think you'll find he's not actually crediting them for anything !

First need to understand what their arguments are about. Most likely money. Son feels entitled as. in his eyes mother has a foreign "sponsor" rather than boyfriend? Mother most likely feels obligated to a degree despite and possibly a cause for the fights ? ...and what about the father and other family members ?

Of course, before I moved to Thailand in 1982 I made up my mind that I was the one who would need to change my opinions and attitude, not the Thais.
Well. you'll find many more and more powerful vehicles on the roads than 30 years ago ! Driving skills and road awareness haven't kept pace though!

Dunkin donuts sodas and KFC for this generation it seems. Anything with rice and lots of chilli/sugar to give it some taste for the older set.
