  1. Search via Skyscanner and you'll often find that the best deals are from Trip.com or Agoda.

Also avoids the money-grabbing 57 baht pp per sector "processing fee" charged by Airasia if you book direct.

I've helped a few Thai widows trying to retrieve money from a deceased farang estate. It can be difficult even with the death certificate, will leaving everything to the widow and proof of death. If there is the slightest irregularity, the banks will jack up and it can take years to finally access the money. One bank insisted that the widow get a death certificate from Australia for their partner who died in Thailand. Another bank defied an order from a Thai court that executed the estate (the husband died without a valid will) and ordered the money released to the widow.

I would suggest that the widow has the necessary access and knowledge to transfer enough funds to handle the immediate funeral and 12 months living costs

Have you ever tried to apply for probate. (on behalf of a Thai widow) in the UK regarding a foreigner's estate ? He passed away without making a will and after 3 months she was able to access the funds in his Thai bank accounts. His only remaining asset in UK being a bank account into which his pensions etc were paid. They were legally married and she is 100% entitled but it seems an awfully involved procedure to ascertain executor/administrative authority !

If something new betrays a failure, then it must mean it's positive for me seen out of the failure you mentioned. So, that must mean it was no meaning with you post. Thanks!

    Completely baffling !

Can only ascertain that your logic/reasoning is on a "different" level. Whilst it's been fun sparring with you, it's no longer entertaining so I'll wish you a happy Songkran and keep safe.😁

All the waste plastic and cardboard is also collected in our village and then it's taken off in a well overloaded pick up truck to the recycle centre in town and sold. There's obviously money in rubbish, or they wouldn't do it.

A strange juxtaposition don't you think?

Yes. we live in an estate that was classified outside of the municipal garbage collection area. The builder of the estate sent his staff on a weekly collection with a pick-up truck. They were too lazy or considered it not worth their effort to take to a recycle centre so piled it all up on waste ground and burned it. Since finding this out, we now take it to father-in-laws and the small monies collected he passes to the kids.

Nothing has happened in 20 years ? Check the road accident/death statistics and have a re-think!

I expect nothing less than to encounter atrocious driving on a daily basis.

Anyway, why are you telling me this ?

Because you seem to be unaware.

Oh. not because you totally failed to comprehend the meaning of my post then ?
