Pretty sure it is a cubic meter.
if that is the case it will be (slower but cheaper) to fill up my swimming pool using city water rather than hauling it via water tankers,,,,,,

Hi all.. does anyone know how much water you get per unit in this area I do not need to know the price just the volume of water per unit .

I just took a look and electrodes alone showing at 15,000-19,000 baht, and there is the electronics to add to that and piping hardware. Not a job I fancy doing myself.. as I get older I break more than I fix! Thx for your input.

Ouch......
I was put off the salt system by my neighbour who complained they were not maintaining it property, and she had to replace a few cells, and they were expensive..... I get a year out of a 50Kg tub, but the 90% stuff. I presume the above prices are 90%?
Did you get a price on a conversion to salt water?
I'd fit the salt water system myself pretty simple to do ..... I 've seen unit prices for my size pool 8 x 4 x 1.4 starting from ฿ 11K upwards from Lazada

Interested too as my tub is getting low.... I use Home and Pool but my neighbour was recently complaining of the price he paid for 20Kg from them.
Yeah ! I've notice the prices have shot up since my last tub ,,,, seriously considering converting my pool to salt water chlorine system . it should pay for it's self if the prices keeps going up for chlorine .

Just had my booster shot today 02/02/22 check-in and got a number at 12:45 hrs ....on my way home at 13:50 hrs . not to much hassle really but get ready for a musical chairs session .... well organised in a un-organised way ..
they are allocating 1000 walk-ins and 2000 booked per day via the QueQ app or other means per day
PS don't expect a certificate of vaccination, but it was on my Mor prom app before I left the temple

You should check your reservation: the hospital has been running its vaccination program off-site at the nearby Chittabhawan Temple. Perhaps you could call the hospital and verify.
You will need your passport plus a copy of the photo page, and a pen for the questionnaire. You already provided your 6000... ID number but it would be good to take a copy of the receipt from your 2nd jab.
I took a proof of address. They didn't ask for it but when I offered, they seem happy to enter that info into their system.
Be ready to show your Queq reservation on your phone and you will get steered in the right direction. There are plenty of staff and they are glad to help.
your reply is very appreciated thx for taking the time ???? Contacted Bang Lamung Hospital and the vaccination are being held here https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fgoo.gl%2Fmaps%2FH6KeaJhMx9fVaeaE6%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2nmKzzYWBc7xbOqcoBqxDkBT3Ms2UaOObsBxnn4YZUdNBzimss7_VT4hk&h=AT1H1tVrx5rwP2M2BoL8DywKXpgK6ypr630nZ596hfQoATJar_xlSnp6AR821NoIvohTnaa-kvmjxntTfyLGRIuvAFwrBzUI4wJ1GdFMkxxB7yxoSt1pNeOvzkl-v_o9BcA

The latest info is posted every weekend on the Facebook page for Banglamung Hospital.
The chart is attached below. Bottom line, go to the PlayStore, find and install the app called QueQ. Instead of choosing Vaccination Center, choose Public Service. Scroll down to the 17th listing, which is an attractive icon; stare at it and you will see the B for Banglamung and a blue dolphin. It asks for your ID number; they want your 6000+ vax ID. Keep going, find a day when the 10am or 11am reservation window is available. Take your time and choose carefully because you will not be able to edit or delete your choice, nor add another.
Thx for the heads Up it worked a treat , but it was not the 17th on the list better just to look for the Banglamung and a blue dolphin icon I did it early this morning and got an appointment for the 2nd Feb (PM)

You will probably get a room in most hotels.
What I do not know is 'walk in' rates v people like Agoda/Booking.com etc. It is very competitive out there.
For example - I go to KPN every year for a few nights about this time. Same hotel every year.
Agoda rates - 2,000 baht per night. "Special, special offer".
Hotel rates own web-site - 3,000 baht per night.
Thx for your input .. but I was referring to pre booking a ferry passage or just turning up and hope there's space at that time

Good advice, that's close to the best beaches on the island. However if staying only for 2 days and departing with a ferry probably best to find a place around Lipa Noi or Nathon.
I'll probably spend a night in both parts of the Island ...

The busiest place on the island now is Bangrak.
I have not been to Chaweng for a while but it was dead the last time hat I went. Friends told me that it was opening up a bit over Christmas, but it is nothing like it's former days.
More than enough to do in Bangrak for a couple of nights.
Mainland (Donsak) to Samui (Nathon), the ferries (Raja) are on a timetable.
https://www.phanganferries.com/time-table/?from=12&to=2
Cheers 4 the info .....question is it better to pre book or is it still quiet enough just to turn up on my motorbike ?

Hi All .. I am thinking of staying a couple of nights on Koh Samui before heading further down south ...where would be the best area to stay where I would not be tripping over the tumble weed in the middle of the soi . ?? a few beers and a few pretty faces to look at at the very least ???? .
Cheers in advance
PS how regular are the ferries at the mo ?? are they as timetabled or depart when full ?.

Quite likely you talk of the omicron variant and I see your point. If there are still appreciable levels of Delta in the population you should think again. Don't forget it has killed over 5 million and still adds to that daily.
the figure don't fully speak the truth someone in the UK requested information of deaths related to ONLY Covid and with NO underlying conditions and the numbers were 17371 ....but he figure publish by the media are of people who died and also tested positive with Covid these numbers are 153,202 plus the the average age of death is 82
Government water this area.

the local large water tankers have a bad habit of pumping the water illicitly straight (Free to them) from the local reservoir .you can end up getting frogs and and brackish water at no extra cost .
