I think the Dutch restaurants probably usually buy them in wholesale themselves.
well that sure makes it easier to do a start up , track down who is making them......
delivery trucks are easy to follow
Fair point.
The trick is marketing.
I reckon it's mostly Benelux people that eat at Dutch restaurants.
That's not enough people.
It would have be a push to bigger crowd.
I reckon krokets mixed with fresh cooked french fries with Belgian sauces might have more appeal.
There's a Belgian frituur doing very well in Hua Hin.

Their facebook page has a map:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Avis-Rent-A-Car-At-Suvarnabhumi-Airport/250913504967716
I found this on Google:
https://www.google.com.sg/maps/place/Avis+Rent+a+Car/@8.096616,98.9824806,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x3051924656fe6de5:0x56211d0a6c17f789
I would guess, there are signs pointing to the car return location as you come in from the 2 different highways????
Hi Craig,
I don't think the map for Krabi is much help at Suvarnabhumi
Cheers

Whats TPL ?
Mystery solved : THAIPARCELS LOGISTIC.
Parcel arrived this morning.
Thanks to all

From a brief search it seems the term "TPL" is generally used to signify "Third Party Logistics" meaning dispatched by unspecified carrier.
So it would seem you are just going to have to wait to see who or what arrives.
Sorry couldnt help more.
Thanks,
Lazada is no help either, no reply to my query.
Oh well there goes my daily lunch outing, I guess I can survive a few days of rice with something

Thanks KhunBENQ I had already tried that. Must be one of the dozens of logistics companies but which one.
Thanks again

Whats TPL ?
That's exactly what I don't know. I ordered something from Lazada and the tracking number I received is TPL1000051951.
Since it is payment on arrival I want to make sure I'm home, to avoid a trip to the post office which is 13 klicks away.
Anyway thanks your reply.

IF you purchased and installed the app through an online 'store' (ie: Google Play Store, Amazon Appstore, etc.) then you should be able to download the same App to another android device sharing that same online store account. Just verify that the store link doesn't indicate an 'amount' when selecting it again for that device.
Otherwise, while you could try using some means to 'copy' the .apk and additional files to another phone, most "paid apps" utilize an authentication mechanism (call home via Internet) to prevent that from working.
By the way, this isn't a dedicated "android" or "Mapfactor" forum, so I wouldn't expect many members "to know".
Thanks for your reply, although I'm a bit perplexed by your last sentence.
I posted here because it's a forum for quote " Internet, computers, communication, technology " unquote.
As far as I know smartphones using android belong in that category but I might be mistaken, if so my apologies.
Thanks again

Use as many search engines as you like I've never found one single hotel that I could have booked cheaper on a site than emailing the Reservation Desk direct period.
Obviously you havent stayed in every hotel. Many hotels will not take bookings from customers and even if they do, they will push you to a 3rd party booking site. Also, many hotels rices are much cheaper on the sites. Ive even had hotels tell me this. The world is changing, we have to change with it.
Obviously not every hotel somewhat stupid comment, However everyone I have where there's an option for Agoda or whomever compared to emailing reservations direct, the price is simply cheaper.
I have no idea what percentage Agoda etc charge (10-20% ??) but whatever it is you're not getting charged it via Reservations direct. I'm somewhat bemused reading the thread (and bearing in mind this is TV) that its not completely obvious.
Also in addition I never pay upfront a single Baht. I've never ever failed to appear but thats another plus for some I might imagine
I've read somewhere that Priceline (Agoda and Booking.com) charge 16.1 percent on average.

Hi guys, as per title I just bought a new smartphone (Lenovo a7000) and would like to transfer Mapfactor including the paid for maps ( paid 45 Euro) from my tablet.
Both are Android.
Is this possible, and if so how ? keeping in mind that I'm not computer litirate.
The reason I ask is because I now know how to navigate with this app and don't like to learn all the ins and outs of a new app.
Thanks beforehand

I signed up with the loyalty program to get a deal at the Somerset in Bangkok. Actually, it was an incredible deal. Took 2 minutes to signup.
From the article:
However, hotels that use Booking.com will still be barred from charging cheaper prices on their own website, except for customers with loyalty cards.Which Sommerset do you use Craig. I stayed a couple of times at the Sommerset Park of Sathorn Thai. Nice hotel with spacious rooms. However the coffee at breakfast was
well below par.

Full article here : http://www.thelocal.fr/20150421/french-hotels-win-battle-against-bookingcom
This means for me that I can now book Accor Hotels (which I usually use) worldwide cheaper than on Booking.com and/or Agoda.com.
Both these booking sites are Priceline affiliates.

Craig - that may have been some time ago. About a year ago, AOT officially sanctioned and permitted arriving taxis with passengers to collect outbound passengers. They are not permitted to collect passengers if they are not arriving with one, so perhaps that is what happened. I have taken a taxi dozens of times and never had a problem.
OP asked where the taxi rank is located and not how one can circumvent airport policies, and yes we all know it's not about the 50 Baht savings although you felt obliged to mention it.

This from a BBC article to bring some clarity :
British Airways is to cut the hand baggage allowance for customers on its flights, the airline has announced.
The maximum size of main carry-on bags will remain unchanged, but smaller second bags such as handbags will be capped at 40x30x15cm, the airline said.
It said there had been "an increase in customers travelling with hand baggage that exceeds their allowance" in recent months.
The change will come into force "in the coming weeks", the airline added.
Currently, passengers can board flights carrying one bag of up to 56x45x25cm, weighing up to 23kg, plus another bag up to 45x36x20cm.
A spokesman said the new guidelines - which apply to all customers - meant the latter changing "ever so slightly".
He said overloading of hand baggage caused delays as staff removed bags from the cabin.
Last month, a teenager from Scotland collapsed with heat exhaustion after wearing 12 layers of clothing to avoid paying a £45 extra baggage fee.
James McElvar vomited and was given oxygen during the Easyjet flight from Stansted to Glasgow.

BA are going to enforce rules that have been in sito for ages, and been abused ever since.
I don't see why anyone would complain about that.

Amsterdam is not only the cheapest way to go, but also plenty to do if longer stayover.
For many Thaivisa members it's their prefered itinerary.

Used to be that abt. 3 months beforehand was the optimum time to book a flight. Optimum days to book were tuesdays and wednesdays.
Nowadays all that has been negated by the airlines and the only way to get the cheapest fares is wait for promotions.
I'm a member of all the airlines that interest me and am on their mailing list so no need for constant checking.
However Air Aisia's promotions all seem to be for flights in the distant future and seats at those prices are (very) limited.

Reply I received from 365 Sport TV on my query re BPL on the standard package :
Hi XXXXXXXX,
The standard package remains unchanged.
We have coverage of all the EPL games. Most games are shown live with 1-2 games each week being shown the following day as a delayed broadcast.
The premium subscription will have additional broadcasts available.
The standard subscription is 3,300 THB for 6 months so for an extra 699 THB your get over twice as many channels.
If you purchase our Premium promotion for 3,999THB we will add the additional cover period onto your existing subscription.
Once purchased this would mean you would have a Premium subscription covered up to 29/02/2016.
Please let us know if you would like us to generate an invoice on your behalf.
Kind regards,
Ben -
Srilankan had unbeatable business class fares to Paris. Not sure if their seats/flat beds are up to scratch though, or how they compare with the average business class standard.
