Take a United flight if you must get back

Thanks, but staying in Thailand is preferable over using United on a long haul

"From Thailand, or international destinations, thru Taipei...has a problem".  This is why I answered it the way I did.

And my statement referred to Eva, which does transit through Taipei...so if you fly Eva,  you do have a problem

  2. Easy for Thai assets give your Thai lawyer the PIN. and your beneficiary your ATM card, the money will be gone long before probate even begins

Your beneficiary will eventually need a lawyer for probate here in Thailand if you own real property but you can still write a Thai Will both in English and Thai and have it recorded at your local amphur to prevent any changes happening after you die.  Understanding that the Thai version will take precedence

If you want to leave US assets to a Thai it is going to be a little more complicated and would require an Estate Lawyer in the US to be your Executor.since your most difficult part will be getting a TIN, tax payer identification number, something that my research has shown can only be done after you are deceased and have a Will to show the IRS of the need

That is the problem I am grappling with now

Thank you mate.     I went ahead with the Express option and all seems fine but Firefox which times out trying to load.    Have you experienced that?

And if possible,  would you please take a moment  and try a gold standard of a test and see if you can load the site in the USA  called www.giftcard.com.    I'm starting to think no VPN can get past their VPN detection block.

Got it with Express VPN 4/1/2020 12:20 PM

Not all flights going to the US transit through Taipei.  South Korea, Japan which has a few locations and then Singapore

The subject of this thread is EVA Air not other airlines that fly to the USA

I should add getting to Taipei might be problematic.

Then everyone going to the US from Thailand has a problem, since all US flights transit Taipei

Unfortunately your dates don't explain the poster above you, mudcatwho had his SF flight on April 23rd cancelled:

Why in the world would you invite those whom hate you and have done all they can to ruin both you and the country...Look how inclusive they have been....

How about without them you would not have had any bill to sign....but he won't share the limelight with anyone...Not Doctor Anthony Fauci, not Deborah Birx, since he still doesn't know government works, by compromise, not edicts from a would be dictator

But we are not in the USA.  FEP Blue Cross is part of the largest insurance system in the USA and still uses mail for foreign residents (even if you select online services)

Incorrect.  I was hospitalized for Pneumonia two years ago and put the $4,000 bill on my Credit Card and FEB reimbursed me before I even got the Credit Card bill

The FEP claim form shows a line for you to provide your bank information for EFTS to a US bank and they even give you the option for a bank Wire if you don't have a US bank. So no paper check required

  8. I am currently using Express VPN since it allows me to pick a city near my US residence, thus allowing me to view geographically restricted media

Used Tunnel Bear for free for years and if you only need occasional VPN for banking or other restricted sites it worked fine.  They give you 500 MB free per month but you can make as many accounts as you have email addresses

  9. You know if the farmers burned their fields in a group the current government would have no problem sending the Royal Thai Police to stop the congregating.

But when literally thousand of Thai older people are compromising their lungs due to this man made pollution,  suddenly they are impotent

How about closing every useless Immigration Office during this crisis and use the manpower somewhere they can do some good rather than harassing people who are already here

And please all you Thai enablers don't parrot the "it's the law " mantra.  If you can suspend the law regarding human rights it only takes a decree to suspend Immigration enforcement for this crisis

I am appalled by President Trump’s invocation of economic arguments as a basis for overriding the judgments of public health experts about battling the coronavirus pandemic.

Why should anything surprise you about this president, he is even bragging about his daily briefing ratings, the mans ego knows no bounds

I'm sure you may be aware by now that, as of yesterday (March 28) the only options to USA/UK for letter/parcel are surface mail (which can take 60 business days or longer)... AIRMAIL and SAL services are suspended.

Source please .  My local PO says nothing has changed other than slower transit due to slow down in air traffic.  Cargo flights have hardly been effected and most countries have long term contracts with airlines to move mail bags and they do not have to go on passenger planes but can be put on cargo flights

Yes, you're right of course, utility receipts, all company docs. including last years company balance sheets etc., all in duplicate and signed. I will take all these and guess what, there will be something I have forgotten.

Then don't be shy and ask to see the head of the Immigration office, at that point you are no longer worried about pi...someone off
