  1. As a male, Dont press the ATR button !
  2. Ok, thanks, all I can say is my niece recently finished at Phitlok, and her figures were nowhere even close to those figures. She didnt take anything from the Govt either. She also got herself a part time job to help and not borrow anything. What I found unfair was having finished Uni and got her papers etc, the job she now has pays 12k !! which I think after 4 years work is pitiful.
  3. Whilst I dont doubt you, there seems something off here. she gets 18k a month ? as a student when people working dont even get to 15k ?
  4. That may well be true to your particular office, but as with all things in Thailand, it varies by office and even by person on the day. In my experience they are generally very good and extremely helpful when asked, but thats my office.
  5. Have you checked that its not a Funeral or Wedding related, in which case it will subside in a few days.
  6. Probably as it was (is?) the Military Bank and servicemen moving around didnt get charged out of province fees etc. That was the only reason I opened it awhile back as I travelled around a fair bit and it made sense. ????
  7. Depends on the Bank. TTB dont.
  8. They'll charge you for the flood ! ????
  9. Used to fall in lust, for a short time. No such thing as "love" its just a bad habit and you get used to someone and they get used to you and it becomes "comfortable" thats all. ????
  10. Provided you purchased them, and return within stipulated time, have a valid receipt.
  11. You wont find it as you have a low post count. You need more than 250 posts to enter.
  12. And your comment was acknowledged and answered. It was just a suggestion where you could see what others have to say on the issue that was all.
  13. Suggest you join the topic that discusses it at length in "the lounge". Failing that, as I am sure your mother once told you, "if you cant say anything nice, say nothing at all" seems appropriate. Your question or suggestion was well phrased, clearly understood and like all feedback will be noted and given the consideration it deserves.
  14. Reported troll comment removed along with responses.
  15. Great in theory, but anyone who has lived here any length of time knows the reality of this is way off the mark, but Thailand is not unique in that though.

  17. Youre right on many levels, that said ,in some you are also in "ideal world" territory and that unfortunately is very rarely the case here. As I mentioned earlier in this , he knows her best, and knows how she will probably react etc and thats the missing info for us standing on the outside of this. She may well be a great Mum close to her child, she may also be a "I got a life lead, kid is too young I aint doing this alone" Onlly the OP can assess that one. He's in a tough place and I wish him well with his choices.

  19. Well we clearly differ on that.In my opinion its the Therapist responsibility to ask the general contraindications prior to ANY treatment. If they dont want to answer them, they dont get treated. That is the safest approach, rather than relying on them to disclose something or not that they may think is not even relevent to a massage. IMHO
  20. Good for you. In my opinion judging by my experience with massage shops, any paper they may have is pretty worthless judging by what I observed and received. Although in fairness not many have any such certificates etc on display.
  21. Shame they all werent, but yours is the exception not the general rule. As a qualified Therapist and former University teacher in the subject I know too.
