Do you really believe he's been in a hospital all this time?
He probably walked through there last August on his way to take the elevator up to the helipad on the roof .

Remember, he still has several outstanding court cases, which are not being talked about which should see him back in prison. The moment he suddenly makes a complete recovery on the date of his release, he should be immediately arrested and taken back to court for official charges to read out, and then held on remand due to previous flight risks.
My guess is that he has a full pardon upcoming. This whole play has been well thought out starting with the royal decree having the sentence reduced by 90% within a week of setting foot in the Kingdom

Is he actually in the hospital...or did he just pass through there on his way to the rooftop helipad back in late August?

I'm surprised he hasn't already been moved to house arrest pending his official pardon in the next two months

so we should definitely question the authenticity then. why would a mega millionaire quit freedom abroad and decide to languish and possibly die in a thai jail? or is he just more stupid than the red bull boss?
I doubt he saw much risk involved. Within 10 days of setting foot in Thailand, he had the golden Royal sentence commute from 8 to 1 year. That was no doubt pre-arranged with the one entity whose judgement is beyond question. So he has less than 11 months left in his sentence which will probably be further commuted, if not completely pardoned within the next few months. Until then, he will require his current medical care setup or, when the media interest wanes, full time medical supervision under house arrest. He has had a good long time to gameplan this out and get the players in position

Thaksin re-enters Thailand a month ago. Within 24 hours, he has himself moved to a luxury suite at the hospital. Within 10 days, he has his sentence reduced by 90% by the big guy before his opposition could even get their pants up from around their ankles. Written in the Royal Gazette decree is a line about requiring specialized medical care due to "age" which sets the table to keep him in his luxury suite.
Also written in the decree is a passage to the effect that "Thaksin had worked to benefit the country and was loyal to the monarchy, and could use his knowledge and abilities to help the nation and its people...." which sets the table for reinserting him into the government decision making apparatus. By Christmas, an end of year royal pardon spree likely removes the remaining 8 months of the sentence and eliminates the criminal record so that he can fully "use his knowledge and abilities to help the nation and its people".
He game-planned this masterfully

Once you've had 90% of your sentence eliminated in one quick strike by the big guy, can a full, Royal Pardon be that far behind?

He's had a longtime to gameplan this out. Looks like he's got all the relevant players singing off the same sheet of music.

For a man with one brain cell, he seems to be prevailing pretty well so far and is clearly still smarter than his opposition

Exactly. And his 2 biggest enemies are the 2 most dominant institutions (the military and monarchy).
Didn't the monarchy just reduce his sentence by 90%?

Imagine he thought he had a deal and then he had to stay in jail for years. ????
I guess you're gonna have to continue imagining that

Surely the court/powers that be can release him on the condition he stays out of politics along with a gag order preventing from speaking to the press about any current issues?
Then he can go home to his family and he will soon be old news and all but forgotten.
That would also confirm their fear of this guy and their knowledge that he never was able to be defeated in an honest election

He made a reservation at the luxury suite in a hospital he prepaid it. He had a sentence reduced from eight years to one year is only spent about a month in the luxury suite in the hospital. What’s the odds that he could spend another 11 months there or wait till December and get a full pardon. I’m thinking he’ll stay there till he gets his part in in December then after he leaves the hospital he will have a 100% recovery from his illness TIT.
I'm thinking the medical staff will recommend release with follow-up, fulltime home care as his condition can't be properly treated in the jail

He will be released from the hospital to serve the remainder of his 12 month sentence under home arrest as his condition requires ongoing care that can't be properly rendered in jail

I'm sure that now he will be found, by a team of specialist to be the sickest person in the prison system requiring him a prolong stay in hospitals in private suite of course.
House arrest with a live-in, full-time medical staff

I predicted he would be out of prison and at home on a house arrest before the end of the month. Dayam, he's even quicker than I imagined, If you don't think this was all planned well in advance of him coming back, I have a super yielding rice farm for sale in Issan.
I never could imagine him coming back if the fix wasn't in and all the key players in alignment

Assuming Thaksin would die sooner or later, will his daughter be allowed to assist the cremation?
I have no clue. What's the connection to my post?

My wife told me her sister in deep red Isaan told her a couple of days ago that he would stay at the jail for a short time but then become ill. Presumably, from there the doctors decide that he requires care that could best be provided outside the prison....perhaps under "house arrest"

Maybe the Oligarchs value their opulent lifestyles or some of the highest level military insiders see a political future for themselves in a post-Putin world. Neither would be practical in a smoldering, radioactive Russian wasteland. Perhaps they can choreograph an inside job

The photos I saw on wife's Line account were uncensored/un-pixilated. The school photos could have been taken by anyone at the scene but the one's of the shooter, his wife and child, post-mortem, at their house could have only been taken by first responders and then shared with others so the RTP needs to manage the activity of their people in the crime scenes better
