Solid tires are notoriously hard to put on, I found a shop in BKK who can do it but living in Pattaya a local option would be ideal. Anyone know a local e-scooter servicer? I have a standup model with 10" tires.

In the last 10 years in Pattaya I don't ever recall ever seeing a Thai in a Indian restaurant who was not with a farang........
Have you ever seen them in American or Euro places?
I have seen groups in korean and japanese places though it's hard to tell if thais or eastern farangs

This is now.
I see you are taking some kind of hardline argumentation stance. Your question is why I would think one place would be open. The reason is because of the last curfew. The prior event was not a guarantee of how this one would work out but spurred the question.

Why would you think Foodland to be an exception to everyone else?
Closure means everyone.
During the last curfew Subway remained a shining beacon of light and food service while the whole of Pattaya was closed. I think Foodland was also open then

I'm sure they can inquire to each other in case of a red flag. i'm curious if they talk to one another about every expat. "Hey, Johnny claims to have made 30k, is that true? Did he pay Thai taxes for this year?" etc.
Are they pretty close, or somewhat distant as info sharing goes?

There used to be a place in Big C Central/South but it closed last year. Now most places charge foreigner prices, 150-300 thb per main dish. Does anyone know of any cheaper places?

Is Foodland open 24 hours or are they closing from 11pm to 4am like eveyone else?

Central Festival and Terminal 21 both have closed theaters. Are any open? I was hoping to see Mortal Kombat on the big screen.

I had to switch from ED to Vol visa last year because ED required going outside the country. Vol visas are able to be issued in country via some below-board hack.
The 2 week quarantine is still in effect so I was wondering if others were still getting Volunteer visas without issue to avoid having to leave the country.

I got my 1 year Vol visa in November 2020, did my first 90 day report in person in February, and did my 2nd 90 day report online a couple days ago. Approval happened instantly and I report next in August.
Do I need a 90 day report stamp in my passport? Or am I done at this point?
-
I only have it saved as a PDF now
Also, it does not give the next 90 day deadline? Anyone know why?
-
yeah was the VPN, thanks for letting me know!

90 day report site is down for me: https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do?cmd=acceptTerm
Does this happen often? Does it usually resolve fast?

I'm in Pattaya and open to local or online stores. At the moment I'd like a 10" wheel assembly. Escooter is a Turboant X7. Anyone know a good option?

Ok guys, looks like a boat rental is needed, and not around the Gulf either. What is the cheapest way to do it without leaving the country?

How many details do you want to see?
In the village of my gf, which is not even 200km away from Bangkok, the night sky looks pretty good.
But that is obviously a relative thing depending how much is good enough for you.
Hard to say, would you say there are 50 stars or 500+ where you are?

Looking at this map it appears there are some fringes on the North and West that have little to no light pollution at night, is that correct? https://www.lightpollutionmap.info/#zoom=4.94&lat=16.7604&lon=101.7338&layers=B0FFFFFFTFFFFFFFFFF
I'd like to see what a starlit sky looks like for once. I am also open to taking a boat although that would raise costs and make this trek doable less often.

Here's a good step by step guide for online reporting if you need it, have'nt tried it myself yet but intend too https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/guide-to-thai-immigration-90-day-reporting
Thank you, do you know if this part can be skipped or not:
QuoteThis will bring up “the Next Appointment” slip. Please print it and clip it in your passport.
I don't have a printer at home so I hope this is not necessary.

Thanks! I assume this resets for every new visa? I'll probably have to pick up a new vol or ed in November of this year

I got my volunteer visa in November. I did my first 90 day report in February.
1. Can I do my 2nd 90 day report on this website? https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do Asking because a confusing thread here suggested only the first 90 day report can be done online.
2. What do I enter for "Arrival Card No.(TM6)" if I do not remember it?

Can a Thailand branch Moneygram or Western Union do this? If not, are there any other online options for sending a money order (which I need specifically) to a US address?

i'm looking at this one: https://shopee.co.th/LULAE-V1-รถไฟฟ้า-ผู้ใหญ่-จักรยานไฟฟ้า-electric-bike-จักรยาน-สกูตเตอร์ไฟฟ้า-รถ-มอเตอร์ไซค์-i.283326398.6865394465
No mention of CCs I guess because the motor is electric? Does it need a driver's license? I don't have one anymore, my home country and Thai one have both expired.

Hi, I went to Phuket for 5 days and return to Pattaya today. Do I need to alert my landlord to fill a TM30 for me? What info does he need from me to fill it?
Thanks

I'm expecting no frills and probably further back. My question to the locals is just how far back from the beach and Bangla rd? In a previous thread I saw that the fire station is a cheaper area, maybe 1 or 1.5 km away.
Any other areas to look into? I'm in Phi Phi and told my taxi driver to/from the pier, I'd pay her to show me some cheap areas of Patong when I return, again with proximity to the beach/bangla being the main determining factor.
Air Conditioner service?

Can anyone recommend an air con service person? I will need them to come out to south Soi Buakao
