The digital displays on Tesco's tills at the checkouts. Only suitable for anyone under one meter tall with a magnifying glass and then anyone with 20/20 vision could be mistaken for thinking they are developing cataracts.
What on earth possessed Tesco to install till displays that people cannot read?

HomePro had a replacement pump assembly THB 24,500
Went to the pump shop on Pattaya North. THB 17,500 for same pump, but told me I only needed a new pressure Tank THB 1,850.
Took 15 minutes to change it. Job done!

The pressure tank on my Grundfos Water Booster pump has sprung a leak after nine years of loyal service. As the pump is beginning to look a bit tired I am looking to replace the whole assembly.
Anyone know where in Pattaya I can get a replacement Grundfos CH4-50PT 0.92 kw/220v/1.22hp
The hardware stores and builders merchants only appear to stock the smaller ones.
Thanks

But where did they get seahorses ?
I have seen some in aquariums, can we also see them in the sea around here ?
Probably from China along with all the other foods Thailand imports as the Thais cannot be bothered to produce it.

Had lunch in the one in Royal Garden yesterday.
Pad Thai Yummy !!!

I use this junction three to four time per week and regularly see impatient drivers pull out into the opposite lane to race to the lights and turn right. They also do the same at the opposite end where Pattaya Tai joins Second Road. It is a miracle that this has not happened before.
There should be plenty of witnesses to confirm if this was the case and hopefully some CCTV/dashcams to show what really happened.

I enquired about opening a USD$ account. They wanted to take 1.5% of the deposit as a fee. No interest is paid.
So if you have to pay the bank to look after your money for you.

I have seen some Iranian Islamic Republican cats wandering around our neighborhood. But they tend to get beaten up by locals.

I got one last week. Went to Dr. Oliver as thought it may be cheaper than hospital. The receptionist told me "no have go to hospital" without even looking up from her mobile phone.
So I went to Bangkok Pattaya Clinic on Sukhumvit opposite Big C. Best bit is no hanging around as it is a quiet place.
Baht 790 including Dr. consultation to write prescription, taking Weight, Blood pressure and temperature.

But we still don't know which country he wants a passport for.
Is Huayrat Turkish?
-
No as I always check them first.
Tip the rice bag up. You can see them if they are in there!
Give the four bag a tap with the flat of your hand to see if you get flour volcanoes out of small holes.
-
I would be careful of purchasing any more flour than your immediate needs as it could be a false economy.
I have found, in particular, Makro and Big C rice and flour can have weevils inside (even in sealed, airtight, plastic bags).
Be aware!!!

This project will never progress as the Thai authorities (who are normally asleep or at lunch) have finally woken up to the fact that a foreign (falang) construction company has taken them for a bunch of idiots.
Being stupid is not an offence in Thailand. But don't tell anyone that they are stupid. That is an offence!
My personal take on this situation does not revolve around the relationship between the developer and authorities, but how the hell did they think they could get away with it?
The whole project is bullshit from start to finish, for more reasons I can even begin to address here!

I would be interested to know what you get and how much you pay as I am considering replacing a door.
Thanks

Is the Food Hall a catering business with all the staff on each stall working for FH
OR
are they independent traders renting a stall with the cash going through the FH till for later distribution?
They do seem to operate independently.

I used to enjoy the noodle soup there but gave up with it after they took all the soup spoons away.

The charge of B30 is clearly to discourage people, who in the past who have parked for free but do not shop there.
Seems to be working judging by the above comments.
Lets face it, you had to get your ticket validated under the old system, so not much has changed!

The ferry cost Bt600 one way. I wonder how much the bridge toll would be to repay Bt45-bn
How many new ferries could they buy for that price!

From the picture, it looks like the truck was driving on the wrong side of the road.

It is only 600 Baht to take the car on the ferry (including driver) from Donsak to Samui
And only 160 Baht for a foot passenger.
On that basis, the Pattaya HH ferry would appear to be overpriced.
