  2. I am in Chiang Rai at present and have been to Mai Sai many times, never had any reason to head over to Burma. The dark beer Lao is a decent drop, but now very costly if you have to pay the tax

  6. I know very little regarding electric stuff, at my location in Chiang Rai the supply appears to be all over the shop, my normal floor fan will run fine and then the speed will drop by half and after some time return to normal. Just checking if its possible to fit a AVR on the main switch box to get a more even supply, my main concern is to the AC type invertor, that i i am sure is not getting a constant supply of required power. In my main house in Ubon i have 3 phase and its either full whack or power off, never have any fluctuations.
  7. Thanks for the map, i used to go to the old shop further along Den Ha road, his wife told me they were looking to move and buy there own place. Will head there after the holiday

  16. I pay 3 houses by DD, two in Ubon and one in Chiang Rai. Previously i received a receipt in my name for all, a while back no receipt was sent for Ubon and when i asked at the electric office was told they stopped sending these. In Chiang Rai i still receive so i guess different rules for different locations. You may want to go to the main office and ask.
