my thoughts to the dead and injured seen a little of this type construction all to temporary not locked in very tightly lots of swaying and creaking going on but hey who would believe it i would
I have been to around 1.000 concerts here with stages like this and can honestly say I have never seen any swaying or creaking, Thais really are not stupid when it comes to putting these things up, accidents really can happen anywhere, even in Thailand!

Thousands of stages like this are put up in Thailand every year, it's very rare for any problems or accidents to occur with them and those erecting and dismantling them are skilled at the job.

Then your ignorant, very ignorant, the n/s divide has nothing to do with the shinawatra's, take a look at the history and how this country came together as one, then the insurgency duing the indo-china wars.. this conflict is about the traditional elites in bangkok and their followers angry that they had lost power due to democracy.
I honestly believe if all Shins and their cronies all disappeared from Thailand the country could actually be repaired. As long as they are here this hatred will continue forever.
I think this is correct, the Shins just took the genie out of the bottle, and if they were to disappear people in the N and NE would still feel the same about the Bkk elite that ignored and sidelined them for so long.

25k is very high so maybe they are right and expect the money to be ripped off by the management, seen that before here.

They don't clock people in and out of the UK, keep an address and register with a Doc and no problems if you need health care. They don't even ask for a medical card and thousands of immigrants of one type or another, including asylum seekers awaiting a decision get free care, and they never paid anything onto the system

I must have missed this:
In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2013-2014, King Mongkut's University of Technology, Thonburi (KMUTT) is the only Thai institute in the top 350 grouping.
So if King Mongkut is the only Thai institiute in the top 350 how can Chula and Mahidol be just outside the top 200, just where did they come?

I get them tested at boots back home then come back here and get some for 80 baht on the market

Got any Swiss favourites Patsy?

I would get all the dog shit swept up and put it outside their house, along with the rubbish, if it's anything like our place it would be quite a lot.

very sad, my heart goes out to her family, especially her kids who may have to live without their mother or father.
How on earth can your heart go out to people you do not know, have never seen and never will know? Too much of this sentimental twaddle of my sympathy blah blah on the internet. Well meaning, but very silly.

I think this a really great achievement, and congratulations to Chula and Mahidol. I've been to Mahidol on a number of occasions, and it really is a very international flavour university. The Salaya campus is quite impressive, and it appears to me, to be a well run and flourishing university, that embraces learning and co-operation outside of Thailand.
How on earth can being ranked outside of the top 200 be an 'achievement' ? We had a report the other week saying that King Mongkut University in Thonburi was ranked higher than either Chula or Mahidol, yet no mention of it here. Cheating, plagiarism and corruption are rife in Thai Universities, they would come near the top in those rankings! What important research is any University in Thailand doing, or has ever done? Mahidol has a good dental faculty, that's about it.

The anti immigrant immigrants to Thailand can then complain about all the foreigners wrecking Britain from behind their keyboards in Pattaya.
Virtually no expats here are 'immigrants' we are aliens only here on a temporary basis

I have not eaten any animal protein since 1972- but feel like shit most of the time. I think people should eat what they enjoy and ignore these scare stories, there will be another along in a couple of weeks claiming raw steak is good for you

Talented father and daughters play everything from JS Bach to phua cheewit and Irish folk, seen them a couple of times. Posters often say Thai music is 'all the same', Thais have a genius when it comes to music.

Saw her about 10 years ago outdoor in Khlong Luang at my 1st concert in Thailand and never forget the experience of walking through the surrounds then into the concert area proper and it was like someone was hitting me in the chest with the volume of the base sounds.
I never go to concerts without ear plugs, sometimes the volume is not too bad at others it's literally deafening, a lot of Thais must have hearing problems!

I recall sq one when Taffy took it over, took a girl from there to a few concerts. Just got back- phra samut chedi, she was on early as another concert. later. Pretty good with a new act and proper R Siam dancers with some nice routines and not the usual arm waving you see with the stock dancers. Still with mr Bunyen her clown/moderator. Likay i don't really do, though I like a bit of a look and lots of luktung singers were/are likay. I admire likay rather than enjoy it. Mair yok, spend a lot on singers so i hope not, my mrs would never spend much on a singer! Last likay I did see was Gung Suttirat and his sister, that was at pra predeang for a funeral, when it got boring we cleared off to a cafe off Rama 3 which was pretty good.

Wiki is still wrong, it was her birthday yesterday and she was born in 1969, not 1971. That's if you believe her recording company.
