What do I say to tourist in Thailand complaining of the alcohol laws, " ****** ***** ****** ** ***** **** *******"

    They used to alcohol at the roadside pumps. My country, Scotland, it was illegal for pubs to open on Sundays when I was there.

    The ban has nothing to do with tourists. It's because there is a huge alcohol problem in Thailand and many alcoholics got to the temple for 3 months at this time of year. Not selling alcohol helps.

    Recently, I've not seen it on Shoppe and Lazada. I'm nearly finished my jar and panicking, maybe it is addictive? Actually, I tried not taking it one night and couldn't sleep for 3 hours pas the normal time.

    In India, you can never sell alcohol in some states. I think this is a good law, if you have problems, maybe you have a problem with the bevvy. In Puri, I remember going crazy as I couldn't by beer, but the government shop sold me ganja and opium.

    I like Tim Newton, good material, well presented, and unlike many others, can pronounce Thai names properly.

    I learned yoga there 30 years ago for 6 months. Truly awesome country and the people are much friendlier than Thailand.

    I think the money has to be invested in Thai property or businesses, so would get a return. A million dollar house could easily get $50k a year.

    Good post. Those who are honest should maybe set up a group to stop the corruption. There are Thai politicians who could help. I've heard some brag about only bribing $500.
