  1. With good reason!
  2. It's certainly huge in India. I was there in 1992/3 when India beat England 5-0. There's something satisfying when other's beat England as they are rather arrogant when it comes to this game, and rugby. Once I played at Gordonstoun against a Saudi and English prince , when there were bodyguards on the touch. I got 28 not out ???? 'posh <deleted>' is what we called them.
  3. They both take a silly game too seriously. Australia do very well at it, as they do in many sports, despite being a new country, unlike my country, who invented so many things, including golf yet can't play the silly game to save their lives. My nephew is Australian and plays for a Yorkshire team as a living!
  4. Why is he doing such a horrible thing? Is it because of his son's drug addiction?
  5. To be fair, the Dems throw plenty of abuse at Trump, including yourself, every chance you can get.
  6. To be fair, old men in other places do the same. In Thailand we say, 'mun keow' which is something like 'I want to eat you' to babies.
  7. Do you mean all dentists or all in Thailand? My experience with dentists in Thailand is better than the UK, I recently got 10 root canals, crowns, dentures, extractions, taking 20 odd consultations over a few months all for 140,000 baht. Would have cost x5 in the UK and not such good service.
  8. I guess he is 75 years old. And they say Thai can't guess the meaning of things by context!
  9. I respect Ali as a boxer and man of integrity. I would also have refused the draft for another pointless war.
  10. It was you that started about links. I don't need a link. Just watch note than CNN and you'll see a more balanced view.
  11. Sure? I thought it was only about 3 million
  12. They are right.Same with me in Bkk Hospital Hua Hin. Said I had a serious heart issue and needed to see the specialist. Next day, after little sleep, I saw the specialist and he said nothing was wrong at all. Also suggested I might have a Pulmonary Embolism, but I said no to seeing the expert there. I had COPD after Covid, gave me medicine and it got better. When I recovered, he said the results were weird and I have emphysema and needed an ultrasound, only 8,000 baht. I got a second opinion and I don't have emphysema. It's criminal! In Khon Kaen, Rajapreuk gave me a good service for a check up.
  13. I agree to a degree. He's also done some great things for the USA and at the moment a better choice, IMHO, than the current alternative. I feel that the majority of the voters will agree with me in the next election. There is far too much polarisation in the US, let's agree that both candidates in the next election have their good and bad.
  14. Big Joke reminds me of 'The Teflon Don' in many ways.
  15. This has been going on for some time, foreign organized crime groups getting involved with this. 10 years ago, I was at a dinner with top cops who didn't know how to handle it. Conflict of interests, actually the dinner felt like a 'sit down'.
  16. Ridiculous how he never knew about this, even I knew.
  17. It's all par for the course. Politicians always criticise the other party's leader when they do exactly the same thing that they would do.
  18. I agree that there is no point continuing this, but I want to clarify that I was not promoting AA literature, I was correcting your post saying that AA don't accept atheists.
  19. I think you are confused between my opinion, (and Carl Jung's) and AA's.

  21. If you are interested, I've done a lot of work in setting up AA meetings with Thai Buddhists, who don't believe in God. There is material which I could send you, in Thai, that instead of God, uses 'sing sak sid'.
