UN Cuts Death of Women and Children in Gaza by Half
Neeranam replied to Social Media's topic in The War in Israel
How can anyone suggest more that half the deaths being women and children is OK? , OCHA has recorded 10,006 were Palestinian men, accounting for 40 per cent of the identified fatalities, while 4,959 (20 per cent) were women and 7,797 were children (32 per cent). It also listed 1,924 elderly people among the fatalities, but did not differentiate them by gender. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/gaza-women-children-death-toll-1.7203167 -

US Strategy in the Israel-Hamas Conflict, Eliminate Hamas?

Bit of an understatement! -
Are you denying the people living there face/d severe restrictions on their freedom and movement due to the control exerted by Israel over its border? Do you disagree that Israel limits the ability of Gazans to travel? Do you think Gazans have control of their own lives? I am most definitely not an extremist, I have no skin in this game.

I do care about the hostages! Hamas didn't start this..... Israel want to take Gaza, well they've never actually left.... Israel's control over the territory did not end in 2005. While Israeli military forces withdrew from within Gaza's borders, they maintained control over its borders, airspace, and maritime access points. This control effectively meant that Gaza remained under Israeli occupation. Gazans found themselves living in what was effectively an open-air prison, with Israel controlling their ability to travel, trade, and interact with the outside world. The issuance of passports and other travel documents, typically the responsibility of a sovereign government, remained under Israeli oversight. This control over documentation further underscored the limits of Gazans' autonomy and their continued dependence on Israeli authorities for basic rights and privileges.

No they didn't. Unbelievable blinkeredness or continued Israeli propaganda. Israel's control over the territory did not end in 2005. When the USA stop bailing them out, giving them bombs and generally saying they are exempt from international law. Biden is starting to see the error of his ways, as are the US public. However, I'm still waiting for Bush to be tried for all the innocents he killed in Iraq. The corruption has to be stopped.

As a legal immigrant in Thailand, who has jumped many hurdles, I feel strongly that any illegal immigrant should be sent home immediately, or to a hellhole like Rwanda.
