  1. When reading / hearing any statement, one has always to consider the source. The reognition of Palestine as a "state" came from Yingluck Shinawatra's dynasty. Not exactly supported by the majority of the Thai people.

I find it ironic that Yingluck does not have the courage to let a recognised state have it's delegation in Bangkok. Instead, she hides in Malaysia. Out of sight, out of mind.

It was about as smart a move as it would be if Israel recognised the southern provinces in Thailand as sovereign, and then setting up related embassys in other countries.

The whole thing is a joke. Amazing Thailand.

    amazing post

  2. There is a good thing about belgium - I never thought I would say such a thing.

There is a good thing about monks - I never thought I would say such a thing.

There is a good thing about belgian monks - trappists - they brew real beer.

There is a good thing about me flying to belgium next sunday - actually six good things: westmalle / vleteren / orval / rochefort / chimay / kriek

There is a good thing about me coming back to chanthaburi: durian

    Chimay 80/...malty heaven...mmmmm......

    The blue one?

I meant 8%....dark and malty...but I might of course be confused.

Its hard to remember these things after the event. I'm sure you understand! biggrin.png

Chimay comes with blue , brown and white caps.

    If I remember correctly.

The problem of remembering being the result of having been out of belgium for so long, not because of overconsumption.

But the blue cap is the best one.

    I think.

    But then again

Nothing wrong with an in dept investigation.

  3. Seek help (information) from your embassy - do not give in to those very helpfull people waiting outside - remember that a translation is not realy a translation, just a form that was translated years ago - do not get overexited, after all, it is only paperwork, and get married cheaply.

By the way - you will not escape paying extortion money for your thai wife's paper of good behaviour - after all, this is the hub of corruption.

  5. A year ago the local head monk died.

Nice man, seriously, he even offered me tea, I was told this was an exceptional honour - before he died I went to visit him in hospital - but in my opinion he was not a buddhist, I always referred to him as the CEO - he was in charge of a buddhist disney park, with buddha's footprints, a magic rock, souvenir shops, etc.

    .

Soon as he died, magic numbers started to circulate, based on the day / hour he died.

    I was shocked by that.

Not realy respectfull to a deceased.

And if i were a buddhist, I would call it blasphemy.

    , ,

  7. There are some men who like Thin Ladies, some like Fat ladies, and some prefer older/younger ladies, etc, or then there are those that thrive on other mens women. I've known two serial sh*tbags in my lifetime,it seems they enjoy the chase and get a kick from screwing the wives or Girl Friends of others, and also seems it's a big turn on, for them.

Scum, that will eventually get a deserved knocking about, when they get caught out.preferably.......ending up with permanently useless nuts.

    ..

"When your in love with a beautiful woman, you watch their eyes" Quote: Dr Hook.

and what happens to the women that agree to cheat on their boyfriends or husbands ? hysterectomy ? seriously if this shit happens it cannot just be the fault of the man ..it takes two to tango ....

Been there done that, the stories these women could tell you.

In each case it was the fault of the man, the womens husband.

I felt no guilt, if it hadnt been me it would have been someone else.

Do not waste your sarcasm on this forum.

  8. why do police never think to take the passports of people in western countries when they get bailed for a major crime ?

would it not just be common sense and save millions for the police to not have to look for fugitives on the other side of the world

speaking languages they cant understand trying to figure out where they went after their flight landed ?

theres one of these cases nearly every week and they stil havent caught on that people wil run rather than go to prison forever if they

have that option left open to them

I'd probably head to Iran or North Korea if I was in that much trouble. blink.png

    Dubai??

Yeah right - there is always one like you.

PS. In Dubai that drugdealer might run into someone who has a remedy against drugdealers.

  9. The total cost of the cremation at the wat on Pattaya Tai of an acquaintance came to an all up 40K baht. My wife has instruction to leg my corpse up to our village just outside Lomsak and hold a simple bonfire, no monks and a minimal celebration of my life. The quote from the local wat was 3K baht. As with most things in Thailand, up to you.

Some years ago a UK couple agreed on the minimum of fuss. When the old fellow died she was going to transport the corpse from the local hospital on the roof rack of their Morris Minor Traveller. A friend interceded and they used his Volvo Estate car instead. He was buried at the bottom of the garden of his house. I don't know whether that is legal now. It was for my cat.

Obviously you where living in a Council house.

    ?? please explain.

  10. The OP must have enough good /bad information now to help

    solve his problem??

In an earlier post I called him crazy for doing the house work,

dishes ect, BUT that was before he said his wife was working

and he was retired,so i am sorry for that..

So if the wife can function alright outside the house and hold

a job down ,it seems the problem is cause by the home and

the OP, or he may just be a troll as hinted at earlier, who knows

    this is the Internet.

    regards Worgeordie

So Clockwork Orange will start helping in the house as soon as he retires?

I hope you have a patient wife.

  11. Man made booze, god made weed, what is better ?

    :-)

    "man made booze...."

According to the jewish/christian/muslim bed stories, their god made booze !!! At a wedding in Canaan if i remember correctly from my forced indoctrination courses.

I "think" was Jesus and not "G-D"

But if I remember correctly Jesus used to get stoned in the streets of Bethlehem. wink.png

    Jesus? OK. Jesus.

    Sorry for that.

I remember that as a child, I used to get bad marks at school for not being able to tell the difference between the holy 3 - a father, a son and I think a pigeon.

That is why I drink real coffee now.

Not that 3 in 1 stuff.

  12. A funeral is as a wedding, a birthday or any other important party: Show off!! I've been to funerals which must have cost millions and the result is the same: the body has gone up in smoke.

Absolutely correct. Showing off -all about face!

Far better to spend the money when alive.

Surely, the monks will point out to the people that this is NOT what buddhism is all about, that in fact, all that showing off is very unbuddhist?

I can't imagine that the monks would be so altruistic, so as to bite the hand that feeds them.

  13. Once upon a time there was a thread about thai politics, farang non-voters getting realy upset about the other's opinions - a red against yellow thread.

I tried to calm them down / bring them to their senses by introducing some Monty Pythonesque ideas, borrowed from "the life of brian".

    I GOT BANNED!!!!!

For weeks I cried myself to sleep, BANNED!!!!!!

If you do not here from me again,.....

I'm off to work in the garden now.
