When something is endemic to a whole society it is not just the super-elites that participate. The middle-elites want to feel special too. I dare say that it goes all the way down, with the dog catcher wanting to feel superior to the rat catcher.

I agree with the judge (but I still think Cohen is a sleeze).

As a general rule it would be good to see all publicly-funded reports released within, say, 30 days of completion.

Toss in the Posse Comitatus Act, and what is happening is a violation of both the US Constitution and subsequent enacted laws.  Those troops are traitors, and anyone who supports their acts is a traitor.

1. 50 days of rioting, defacing and smashing is not peaceable assembly.

Good to see Iran being so forthright. Other countries should not be so reticent about their numbers.
