Perhaps Thailand should soon consider renaming itself into CP-Land. It's snappy, easy to remember, and it perfectly alludes to the fact that Charoen Phokpand is gradually taking over pretty much every business sector in the country.

Oh my goodness! Does that mean she won't be able to enter Thailand and give her multi million dollar performance on New Year's Eve? That will be mightily disappointing for those millions of tourists that TAT predicted would be flocking to Thailand just for that event (and the equally expensive opera singer, of course).

What "reopening"? Why is this word perpetuated again and again by the press? There is no "reopening".

The only "spike" I can discern here is in the stupid/ignorant/xenophobic statements such as this, showing that the authorities' attitude towards anything "foreign" has not changed one iota.

Is she pregnant?
Sonthaya did it!

Informed sources claim she also wore Union Jack knickers and a kinky Stars-and-Stripes garter belt under that red jumpsuit. A joint commission of UK and United States lawmakers is currently deliberating whether to file an extradition request so she can be publicly tarred and feathered in New York's Times Square before being subjected to the same procedure in London's Piccadilly Circus. Authorities expect the spectacles to draw considerable numbers of tourists.
But honestly, have you got nothing better to do, Mr. Sonthaya?

Toke Terkelsen? With all these funds available to him, he really should invest in changing his name to something more snappy.
You know...
Helpy Helperton
Busby Busy
Goody Goodman
Freeby Frisby

There are few hundred thai females and dozens of couples are doing it on OnlyFans, countless on Chaturbate and many other webcam sites. Thai models are on OnlyFans as well, not only those poor bar girls [aka LBFM] and students, but legitimate models. Also, there are dedicated webcam sites with only thais. Also, there are AV studios in Bangkok and Pattaya working with 4K videos for studios in US. Also such a giant of porn as Evilangel sends its crews to shoot porn here...
What culture?
Many thai students abroad are doing sake-sake or turning into big-bucks porn starlets.
Isn't it too freaking late to lament about so-called Thai culture?I see you have done very meticulous research. Thank you! ????

I'm quite flabbergasted why "porn" is such a big, big taboo in this country. After all, half the population seems to use it in their names.
Pornchai
Somporn
Pornchanit
Pornthip
Vilaiporn
Pornchanok
Thipaporn
etc.
etc.
On one of the islands I once even came across a huuuuge painted sign pointing the way to a mysterious place called "Porn Resort". Needless to say I went the other way.

I love Thai culture!
I've been to many Thai cultural sites in a few different Thai cities.
Some of my favorites are Nana Plaza, Soi Cowboy, and Patpong in Bangkok.
Walking Street, Soi Bhukaew, Soi 6, LK Metro, and other places in Pataya.
Bangla Road in Phuket.
All fine places that exhibit Thai culture and are known world wide.
And thank goodness there is no "pornography" going on there. Just imagine how the culture minister would reel if he learned about that!
Besides, with a family name like "Khunpleum" I am not sure I'd necessarily want to be all too vocal about "the good culture" of Thailand.

What "good culture" is he rambling on about?
The plethora of massage parlors, "hostess" bars, "curtain motels", makeshift brothels that are a common feature of practically every town, village and hamlet?

What the heck is that supposed to mean? It's a simple wicker basket made from bamboo strips. Often with lots of holes in it, by the way.

You have approached the right people. Many of them are among the most avid consumers of prostitution services and porn you can imagine, therefore they surely will be sympathetic to your cause. ????

To autocratic, neo-fascist and nanny state regimes around the world this so-called pandemic is absolutely the best thing that could possibly have happened and they want to keep it around for as long as they can.

Dear TAT: Kindly disseminate this news to your overseas reps and travel agencies around the globe, as well as publish it on your own and the Thailand Travel Pass websites, so foreigners who are planning to visit your (allegedly) opened-up country for the holidays and New Year still have a chance to change their plans and go somewhere else instead. I mean, why jump through hoops with all sorts of cost-intensive documentation and pre-travel requirements just to arrive at a destination that is basically dead?
