Ah, Thai-style democracy, you ARE a very curious, endemic shrub.

Improper toilet training, lack of attention from mother, and undersized genitalia is really what these protests are about.
Air ventilation? At an intersection?
Probably in one of those cozy police booths where they hang out all day long and which I half expect to be furnished with a cushy bunk, karaoke machine and mini bar, too.

With half the working population out of work thanks to government incompetence, why would they need an "extra day off" anyway?

Funny. I always was under the impression the entire RTP actually was "a danger to the public". Well, I guess it's a matter of perception.

The Republic of Korea is South Korea. North Korea also has "Republic" in its offical title, which can be confusing to plebs like me. I mean, I assumed they meant South Korea, but I had to google it to be sure.
I doubt the other one, the oddly named "Democratic Republic of Korea", would be able to gift "food bags" at all. They've got nothing themselves.

The RTP should be able to concluce the case tomorrow given that Joe Ferrari was following the Standard Opeeating Procedures and behaviours that were set down by previous generations of the RTP and dutifully followed by the current generation of the RTP.
Joe Ferrari will now become a fallen hero, whose priciples and ethics will inspire future generations of the RTP.
Maybe he should be appointed justice minister to join the ranks of his fellow black sheep, Thammanat.

Can anyone explain the sentence above to me.
What are they doing to make them open enemies outside of Parliament?
I am glad you asked, because I've been brooding over that sentence for 10 minutes, trying to make sense out of it and starting to question my cognitive abilities.

Him again. Now branching out to actively protect the Thai religion. From there it's just a short step to protect Life, the Universe and Everything. Go for it..., but smoke some weed first.
If he were female I'd call him a goody two-shoes in wolf's clothing. Since he ain't, a "Dudley Doright who's a bit too close to the Dark Side" will have to suffice.

Yet another case for the reactionary hypocrite, Srisuwan Janya.

Oh, shut up, Srisuwan, you huffing and puffing hypocrite! As if Buddhism weren't "tainted" thousand- if not ten thousand-fold in this country every single day.
How about the Supreme Patriarch getting himself chauffeured around in a vintage Mercedes-Benz, for example? Why not pounce on that?
Or visit Fortune Town and observe monks shopping for expensive mobile phones -- though they are supposed to not possess any material goods (or cravings) at all, the "holy men" they allegedly are.
And what about lottery tickets being sold on the grounds of literally every temple and senior monks even dispensing "winning numbers" to worshippers, thereby actively encouraging gambling? Is that NOT "tainting" Buddhism?
According to the article.... "In a phone call debate between the monk duo and Srisuwan televised on Channel 3, Phra Maha Paiwan said 'allow some humour into your life, and do not treat laughter as deadly,'..."
If that's the lightheartedness that offends that reactionary fool Srisuwan so much, maybe he should go get a cue or two from the Dalai Lama who is world-renowned for his lightheartedness.

the investigation of the high-profile case is now 80% complete.
I've always wondered how they actually measure that. You only can measure the completion state in % of anything if you already know the end result.
However, in a criminal investigation there are so many variables - with new aspects possibly being added as the investigation tags along while others turn out a dead end - that it's simply impossible to calculate an accurate percentage figure.
All you can say is that an investigation is "100% complete" once it's actually concluded. But any increments in-between that are pure BS.

That is all very commendable.
But the bigger question is, of course: Who will protect us from the RTP? (or rather, from the many, many, many black sheep among them)

Hmmmm... and silly me thought for a moment it stood for "Inept Organization".

With all these nails being constantly hammered into the proverbial "reputation coffin" of the RTP one after another after another, that casket by now ought to look like a hedgehog. Not that it matters. With or without nails, we all - locals and foreigners alike - know exactly what is going on within Thailand's largest mafia organization.

Obviously chose not to use the TAT calculator to work that one out.
I guess the batteries on the TAT calculator are depleted because it has been used too excessively over the past 12 months.

Still as regular as clockwork around the bars that are still open in Nana. Every night without fail.
Haven't been to Nana Plaza in 15 years. And why would I want to go there?
There always were nut sellers elsewhere, too, you know. In the restaurant areas in my neck of the woods, for example.

Yes, I noticed the conspicuous absence of Indian nut sellers over the past year or so. Glad to learn that they will be back soon.

Another scam primarily set up to fleece foreign tourists, I suppose. Just the like those "don't feed the fish or face a 100,000 baht fine" and the "don't smoke on the beach or pay 100,000 baht" scams of the past.
And why is it always 100,000 baht?

Thailand moves further up the ‘Best Countries Heritage’ top 10 rankings

Reading the headline alone I KNEW that this OUGHT TO BE a TAT release.
Whenever you read "Thailand" and "among best countries" (or "top countries" or "hub of this and that") in a headline you know exactly where it's coming from.
