His room and that of the other policemen had bars
Well, I guess it helps to take the edge off this stressful situation when you can have a few beers and vodka chasers. Do these bars come with their own tenders?

Just as expected.
And here is the reason why:

How "close"? Well, one can only speculate, but perhaps "so close" that they regularly received a "senior" share of the "profits" generated by "Little Joe" through the latter's various... uhm... activities.

I wonder if there is "regular" Soylent Green and "vegan" Soylent Green -- and what the latter is made of.

Why would I want to pay 10 billion baht for it? I'll just copy the OP pic in this article and be done with it -- for free.

I do not see how defamation can apply in this case but maybe the law here is different. There was no libel or slander or comments just a video which people can come to their own conclusion.
Falsity - Defamation law will only consider statements defamatory if they are, in fact, false. A true statement is not considered defamation. Additionally, because of their nature, statements of opinion are not considered false because they are subjective to the speaker.
I don't think you have seen the Thai definition of "defamation" yet.

With all due respect, I have never really understood why vegans would want to eat "imitation meat". It seems so hypocritical to me.
If you are a meat eater, go for a juicy piece of chicken thigh (plus a healthy serving of veggies, of course).
If you are vegetarian or vegan, stick to the literally thousands of very tasty vegetable and fruit options. Why would a person who eschews (even abhors) cooked meat want to eat anything that actually resembles the texture, taste and even shape of a meat dish? I just don't get it.
Even as a meat lover, I frequently eat vegetarian.

Oh, what would we do, where would this country be, without such charitable, well-meaning, benevolent, caring and service-minded people such as you? Thank you three times!

What a bizarre contrast to TripAdvisor's recent "Bangkok and Thailand best travel destinations 2021" award.
It will be most interesting to see how the creative eggheads at TAT are going to save the nation's face this time. I am positively certain that they're already feverishly working on some sort of a preposterous disclaimer.

As long as I have been here - a whopping 3 decades - there has always been unending talk about "police reform". And herein lies the problem. It's only TALK, but never any concerted ACTION. And with good reason, too. There are way too many greedy snouts digging into the feeding trough (not only in the police force, I might add) -- and they are (understandably, perhaps) quite... uhm... "reluctant" to change that situation.

Are there any more bargains out there to be had... I fancy an Aston please.
Sure. Just go talk to Thitisan. He can arrange it. He has a friend whose friend's friend's friend's nephew's acquaintance would be delighted to help you out.

Judging from this OTP estate and the impressive car pool, it seems that this was not the first time this so-called "law enforcement officer" has engaged in extortion and, possibly, murder.

Extortion, blackmailing, bribery, bullying, embezzlement, human trafficking, pimping, drug dealing, torture, rape, murder -- when you have a police force that ROUTINELY engages in all of this and more, from the top brass down to the lowest-ranking officers, you really don't have space for regular career criminals anymore. And the army is not one iota better.
And make no mistake... this vile murder was NOT an isolated incident. It happens every single day on a more or less grand scale everywhere in the kingdom, the vast majority of these cases being successfully swept under the carpet.
That this disgusting and deeply disturbing video came to light at all must be put down to sheer luck. My guess is that the officer who allegedly shot the clip has been bullied and indeed ordered by his superior on numerous previous occasions to participate in a long list of highly criminal activities and finally just had had enough. Taking the clip and making it public was his chance to escape the situation in which he was caught up for god knows how long.
If you are an officer who has even the slightest shred of conscience and tiniest bit of moral compass left, you are having a very hard time in this so-called "law enforcement agency", where, so it seems, almost everybody is involved in criminal activities at least to some extent.

Who was voting in that survey? The 200,000 TAT employees that are currently sitting idle, twiddling thumbs?

Thank you, Nakhon Nayok "agriculturists", for openly admitting that you are not only systematically poisoning the environment but also an entire nation of consumers.

In other news, TAT this year apparently also aims at issuing 1,000 ridiculous announcements concerning foreign tourist arrivals.

Meanwhile, Finland retorted with cynicism by asking Thailand how a serious outbreak among Burmese migrant workers in Samutsakhon in early April could possible have happened - for the Thai government has consistently insisted that all migrant workers in the country were well looked after. The Samutsakhon event is regarded as the start of Thailand's "fourth wave", which currently claims about 20,000 new infections and around 200 deaths every day. Reportedly, no berry pickers are among these casualties, but pretty much every other occupational profession imaginable.

And no sex without mask either!

14 days? Wow, soooo much dedication!!! I am sure the savagely murdered woman's soul is trembling with joy. And once this news reaches Switzerland, there will be even more "endless support from Swiss believers". In the form of hard Swiss francs, no doubt.

Joe Ferrari case: Death of suspect was by asphyxiation, not drug overdose

Will that autopsy result entice an additional criminal charge of concealing the true cause of death and falsifying an official report? Probably not.
