I remember this association being jumped on by all the pro yellows as 'fact' that Tacky masterminded this..
Are we not to understand it was all just bullshit ???

New charter to contain built-in mechanisms to prevent parliamentary dictatorship
It IS already (the political brainwashing system,
which must not be named), sponsored by our dear PM and former general....It would be interesting if all these men now setting out the new charter, were made to declare their political leanings. See how many supported the Pue Thai and how many support the Democrats . I wonder ?

Yes we Turkish people offer protection to farang business owners because they don't know how to deal with the police and local mafia. PM me if you need "consultation"
Did'nt seem to work too well for one Turk, did it !

The handshake is one custom that should be done away with. It's the most common way of passing around germs and bacteria. The wai is much more sensible. But every time I meet a farang, they want to shake my hand. Nowadays, all I want to do is go wash my hands. And to the douchebags who always try to crush my hand, knock it off already!
Are you the guy that stands on the lavatory seat.
-
Shaking hands?.......Disgusting habit............
That's why I always give a soft kiss on the cheek of whoever I meet......Thai or farang...........
Looking forward meeting you people.....................
You've just confirmed the oft-talked about notion that Greeks are ass-kissers.
Thats "our" Costas especially where the general is concerned.
-
Probably because the handshake is not an Asian thing, but purely European, ever thought of that. What sort of a Wai do you do ?

Our Australian electricity bill tops $1000 for the summer quarter. Maybe $600 each other quarter. My gas bill is average $250 a quarter. That's for 3 of us but our daughter is only 2 .
Shopping food bill is about $300 a week. We eat pretty well. But nappies are in that and they're expensive. Water bill is around $200 a quarter.
Add mortgage and cars and the rest of life costs in its crazy really.
Just a comparison for you.
When i was home last year in Australia, i watched a few "shopping trollies" pass through the check out.............Pure bloody extravagance and still they whinge about the cost.

How about comparing the average wage in Australia to the average wage in Thailand. Then perhaps you might have a better understanding !

Frozen berries from China have been pulled off the supermarket shelves in Australia due to people contracting Hep "A" from eating imported berries packed in China. These berries are found to be infected with human fecal matter. I notice that Chinese berries are freely available in Makro, just a word of warning.

And what about Sukhumvit? The area between Nana and Asoke is almost impassable due to the vendors.
You have to admit that this area is a very important tourist venue although it should be a little more regulated. It really is an asset to the industry. I suggest that if it makes your passage "almost impassable" that you avoid the area............simple really !

So where do all the fishing boats who are unloading their catch at Naton Piers get their fish from.

Prayut is like a knight in shining armour
Prayut has come to save Thailand
Prayut is taking out all these corrupt police and cleaning Thailand like a real super hero
Prayut is the man
And please tell us how he has become a billionaire on a soldiers wages. I know that he says its none of our business, but the question needs to be asked.

And will we ever learn the name of the "Local Politician"

The General claims that he is concerned about the pollution of beaches. So why does he not ban the use of plastic bags and excessive packaging. Thailand is one of the worlds worst polluters of plastic, as someone has pointed out, go into 7-11 buy a packet of crisps and a bottle of water and they shove it into a plastic bag without even asking. I usually take my purchases out of the bag and drop it on the counter. In other countries some supermarkets will not give you a plastic bag but will sell you a carrier bag or even allow you to collect a used cardboard carton from them.

The arguments anti or pro drugs, anti or pro death sentence are irrelevant.
The law in a sovereign country is the law that applies whether you agree with it or not.
Last time I was in Denpasar there was a very large sign, in English, clearly indicating drug trafficking can lead to a death sentence.
All the do gooder hang wringers come out in force now when the sentence is about to be carried out. They forget if the criminals hadn't been caught they would most likely have done it again and again importing misery and death into Australia.
These two might be showing remorse now as the time of their death draws nigh, but I can assure you if they hadn't been caught they would still be swaggering around in a city in Australia like some Soprano wannabe.
If it was'nt for the Australian Federal Police, they would have been picked up on arrival in Perth. The AFP has blood on their hands for getting the Indonesians to do their job for them..............utter bastards. Mudcrab has no idea what he is ranting on about.

Death of these men is purely REVENGE, nothing will change, however the Indo prison system will have lost a valuable asset in these men who have done so much for their fellow prisoners. Their death alone is a crime.

I would have hoped he has learned his lesson by now and stop these metaphors.
Unfortunately I have to be subjected again to the wise opinions of the TVF members.
Costas, there are some who need to be closely watched in TV and sadly , you are one of them. You are so biased that it at times is pathetic.

This is wonderful news that you have for us, i am sure that there many genuine ex-pats here who feel likewise. Please take no notice of the negative idiots on TV., for every one there are probably 100 genuine ones posting. We all know who these idiots are, they pick anything they can to satisfy their small minds, and probably just cannot help themselves. Good luck with your daughter.

Excellent stuff - just goes to show what can be done if the will to do it is there.
Yes, excellent stuff......unheard before under the previous governments.
But with this government, things have changed and the law is taken seriously.
Even for 1 month, Living in Kata, shows the good intentions of the government......next time the scammers will be put in jail.
I don't believe it, Costas has said something which i agree with for once, except for the "snidie" remarks about previous governments, but that is probably a Greek thing, so we will just have to ignore it like the Greeks do with their debts !

He will just give his jet-skis for rent to another one of his mates that also rents them out.
The punishment is a joke.
Fined for letting insurance lapse and not attempted fraud. TIT.
The Jet Skis should be impounded for the period. And not returned until they show certificate of them being fully insured.

They should be having a look at a certain guy who is residing in a Suratthani temple. See if his family have returned the government land on Samui that they have taken.
