  1. If I return to the UK for 10 days and then come back to Thailand what paperwork do I need? Just direct BBK-LHR -BKK.
  2. I, too , was vaccinated at Bang Sue. I was not given a certificate but asked around at the various computer desks and got one. If you don't ask you don't get!
  3. I am from the UK and live in Pattaya. I have often had problems with various types of money transfers of one kind or another. In each and every case until now the problem has been in the UK-never in Thailand. Recently I have had problems receiving OTP's from HMRC ( Inland Revenue) and after some hard work they have solved the problem. The problem is with the server in Thailand and they discovered it involved most servers. The servers admitted receiving the OTP's and then admitted to not passing them on. They do now. If a call to the Thai server does not produce the required result maybe you could ask your Bank to ask them to sort it out. The problem is with the servers in Thailand.
  4. Something nobody has mentioned so far. Beware of fake red plates. I was stopped at a toll booth on the way into Bangkok. If the dealer does not give you the book you can assume the plates are fake-my experience.
  5. I understand that the Mor Prom app has been updated -but you still need the 13digit ID number. After my vaccination, 2nd one, in Bang Sue I asked around the various groups of people manning computers. Eventually I found a guy who was able to generate the 13 digit number and he was able to print out my Certificate. I think that after the first day or so of second doses the staff at Bang Sue were up to speed in getting this information.
  6. My Bang Sue Certificate clearly states that AZ was given in both doses-unless of course you have a different certificate from me.
  7. You ,personally, may not like QR codes but the country, or whatever, may want to scan a code rather than look at a booklet.
  8. Thank you for all who replied. I have the PP problem when I scan the QR code on the Mor Prom app. What we do not know is what details are going to required when travelling.
  9. There appears to be three methods of providing proof:- Certificate, Mor Prom App and Vaccination Booklet (yellow book). To me it appears that none of these are 100% stand alone. Let me explain! I and some friends had our vax at Bang Sue, 2 jabs, and received a certificate at the end of the procedure but.... we can get no information out of the QR code when we scan it. I believe those who were jabbed at the 2 hospitals are able to scan their QR codes, so it seems that just the station is causing the problem. Next.. we cannot enter the Mor Prom app itself but we can get into it via Line ......but, our passport country is given as Thailand and there seems to be no way of changing that! Thirdly, the Yellow Booklet has all the information correct but it has no QR code. I am sure that some intelligent person will be able to provide some solutions to my problems. 1. Can anyone who was vaccinated at the station scan their QR code? 2. Does anyone know how to change the passport country to the correct one on the Line version of the App? I look forward to being educated! Probably by a 5 year old!
  10. I had my second jab at Bang Sue last Tuesday. More or less the same. You should receive an SMS the night before confirming the appointment. I was told, in Thai to enter through Gates 2,3 or4. I am sure sure which gate I used but it did have 0ver 75 on it! I was not given a blood pressure check but others did have to have the check. You then fill in the health/consent form and follow the crowd-not as many as before. There was nobody in the queue at my desk so that was quick.. My friend asked for Pfizer and got it-in another area. You then have a 30 min recovery period during which time I tried to obtain a vaccine certificate. As I was one of the first to get the 2nd jab getting the certificate took a while as they have to generate the 13 digit ID number for you first. As always in Thailand patience is a virtue!. Friends were in and out in 45 mins. I took a bit longer due to the certificate delay. When you leave you will have only the certificate and original appointment form. So getting the 13 digit number is vital,
  11. Yes, I can. Dr Roy at Rutnin Hospital Bangkok
  12. For me there were a few 'must haves'. 1 Sky Sports-all channels 2. BT Sport. 3 Cricket and rugby worldwide. 4 UK News and Entertainment 5. Catch-up 3 day+ 6 No buffering or the very minimal. I have all this via a Minix Box and 3BB Internet. The app. is not based in Thailand and offers a free 3-day trial. Of course like all IPTV services it could be blocked at any minute. I have had this app. for 5 years. The box cost about 4000 baht and the programming costs about 6000 baht per annum. More expensive if you buy for shorter periods . I live in Pattaya. pm me if you need anything
  13. You did not read my post correctly. The not so sick patients in swamped Hospitals in a town near Pattaya are being placed in HospitEls (note spelling) in Pattaya. Got it?
  14. I agree that the hospital system is swamped-why else are new hospitels being opened up in Pattaya? It may not be that Pattaya hospitals are swamped but those in neighbouring towns are.
  15. I have just heard from a friend that these are possible in the Samyan Mitr area of Bangkok. Can anyone throw further light on this?
