Smoke signal: Suvarnabhumi sparks smoking rooms outrage
phitsanulokjohn replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
They've never found a cigarette too big or little for them😂 -
Yes so easy to avoid.Go down to the Land office, have the owner sign the chanote over to you and have the land office inform you when the chanote in your name.Hand your money over to the seller in cash or transfer via app to his bank.Shake hands.Job done.Have done 3 or 4 deals in the past this way,and never a problem. If you are first in the queue at the land office, the whole process takes no more than a couple of hours. However you must remain concentrated at all times throughout the process,as there's always someone unscrupulous ready to take your money. I feel very sorry for this couple and wish them all the very best retrieving their funds. Its a large sum to lose.

UK Pensioners in Thailand Face New Scrutiny Over Pension Fraud
phitsanulokjohn replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
British govt has maintained this bang out of order and backwards policy for decades now. Everyone who has paid national insurance contributions, should receive the rise. Its my opinion that they do not, because the govt wants you to spend the money in the British economy and not abroad. They should target the real fraudsters, not the easy to bully pensioners. -

Years ago,you done the crime&served your time& was released. Nowadays, you do the time, get released, write a book and make a profit off of all those stupid enough to buy it wanting to read of the perpetrators own stupidity.Makes a bit of a mockery of the saying "Crime doesn't pay"When plainly it does. -
BBC iplayer completely Blocked even with VPN's
phitsanulokjohn replied to liddelljohn's topic in IT and Computers
Having read up on Vpns,Cyber ghost came out quiet high in reviews. It is also what I consider to be very cheap for 2 years. They all seem to say express VPN is the best, but by comparison is the most expensive.I only want one to watch live sport World cup football etc on iPlayer, but have heard of people having trouble accessing iPlayer. For me can only take the free trial offer and if it doesn't work, cancel it before end of free trial, but cyber ghost currently offering an 83% discount.26 months is currently $56.94. -

Anutin Comments on Cannabis Reclassification Poll
phitsanulokjohn replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I actually agree.I think the reason the UK govt, doesn't legalise it,is because there's far more money floating around in the black economy, than if they legalised&taxed it,and so putting the dealers out of business. -

A £ to a pinch of Thailand's finest Buffalo dung, that this govts decision to re-criminalise "This wonderful plant of Peace" will get reversed.Just like their 300 Baht tourist charge, and their proposed tax on foreign income for residents,to which anyone with a modicum of sense,a simple workaround exists. This govt, loves to open their mouths, before first engaging their brains. For a people who hate losing face, this govt certainly succeeds. -

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has rescinded the decision about the controversial 300-baht tourism fee. This fee was first proposed last year and has faced resistance from private businesses. The government intended to gather this fee from every tourist coming to Thailand. However, it was scrapped with the belief that getting rid of it might stimulate tourists to spend more in other sectors, thus providing a significant boost to the economy Why didn't he or his govt advisers think this through before implementation?Next it will be his cannabis and taxing of farang residents,to experience U-turn Srettha. This govt clearly doesn't know their a**e from their elbows.

Swiss Man Admits Killing Missing Thai Wife: Police
phitsanulokjohn replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
The full version taken from Timothy 6:10 of the Bible is... For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. Absolutely correct IMO,and I'm not a Christian. -
Neuter the lot of them worldwide and extinction will soon follow. Got no time for the people who say"You should see how good our pit bull is with our baby" Obviously until it decides to be bad that is.I usually blame the owners, but in this case the pit bulls record and disastrous instincts, speak for themselves.
