  1. Always said that Hodgson would do a good job given time

In all positions we have very good young players now and a lot of pace ...Hart is fighting for his place now with Forster and Butland.

Hopefully Shaw comes back as he left off would like to see Stones fill out and partner Smalling at CB and right back is between Clynne and Walker with even Trippier in with shout.

Midfield looks very strong Ali ...Dier...Barkley...OX...Walcott...and plenty of strong running water carriers like Drinkwater Delph Mason Shelvey Henderson?

    Strikers...Kane...Vardy..Wellbeck..Sterling...Sturridge...Rooney?

With loads of yongsters coming through who given the chance at club level could very well push on as some of the Spurs lads have done....

Good to see and credit should go to Hodgson as a lot of the old timers have finished and he has started to get a very good young squad together now.

    Behave Mr Bias

    You obviously didn't understand whistling.gif

    Explain yourself then cryptic conn.

  2. Beaten England Quarter Finalist Rooney said, "Yes of course it was the right decision to play me in every game of the Euros....I haven't scored in ten months that's true but look at my record...."

His pupped master nodded sagely....and nodded and nodded.

Just out of interest do Scotland have an International football team these days or is it still just tennis and cycling? whistling.gif

  5. I will retire to The British Club

I'm not sure having more warning pts than Jingthing qualifies you old chap! ohmy.pnglaugh.png

I just asked Bangkok Airways if i could use my TVF points on todays flight to Phuket. I will probably get a window seat with a duck looking in

The best one was the giraffe looking in- I cried laughing over that one.

Somebiddy google those photos, i can't its my laundry day. Showing some stupid 30 year old to use the dryer. And he took over my three hour spec.

But was nice enough to give me a ciggie during the spin cycle.

I thought you would of enjoyed it after the spin cycle.......the ciggie that is tongue.png

  6. ^There is plenty of manpower out there and skilled people.

The only problem is (as far as i can see) remunerating the right people when found at a salary they are happy to do there job and incentives also go a long way too!

It is an old adage but very true "you pay peanuts you get monkeys"

In my experience most employee problems come from staff who feel unwanted, underpaid and therefore insecurity grow.

Total nonsense, there are not 'plenty of manpower out there' Raro's example is just one

You said it.... is just one smile.png

    We have different experience obviously.

  7. raro, don;t take any notice of the knockers, they cannot even sing for their supper. It is good to see someone paying their staff properly and as a proper job, social security is important and very valuable but I guess that most workers in that kind of job here do not appreciate that yet.

It really is not anyone's business to question a person about his business but it is interesting to hear the answers as it helps broaden our knowledge about employment here. I am glad the cafe did not use your frypans as I do not think anyone could survive being hit by one for saying the burger was under/over cooked.

Would you be happy for your son or daughter to be working in a burger bar?

Would you say well done to them for getting a "proper job"

As you know so much about the Thai social security system and how valuable it is......would you let us all know the benefits of of it.

I was responding to raro and nobody else... he has honestly answered so as to understand the point he was making and the difficulty he found getting staff.....no need for your stupid insults and yes i have had to sing for my supper.

  8. I would cut out Chiang Mai and add more time for travelling and relaxing through Laos and into Thailand or even just leave your last 10 days open and that means it will be more of an adventure and leaves you the freedom to make decisions as a group as you go through Laos.

You could always do the Nong Khai to Sukothai and then down to Kanchanaburi(bridge over the river Kwai) and back to Bangkok.

Chiang Mai ...Chiang Rai and the golden triangle into Myanmar can be done next time.

  9. Why should he inform you about that ?

Its no ones business which salaries he offered. And not the reason why he closed the doors.

And Mobi's was a great success, only health issues prevented him from carry on.

"Again, the main reason for packing in is that we cannot find staff. This was way more difficult than we would have imagined.

We had a bunch of ideas for new products, marketing campaigns etc but simply no manpower to make them happen. "

    This is what raro said......

I suggest you read the posts before you open your mouth.......

  10. We paid 30% higher salaries than other places for a comparable job. This cannot be the reason.

Interesting...so did you have the staff? as you said "we paid" If so they then left which indicates it was the conditions maybe or the work involved...or what do you think?

30% of what? what was the position? how much was the monthly wage because if you are talking in the 10.000 a month bracket then employers will always have problems.

In interested to know what the position was raro and the remuneration offered.

  12. Good points raised on this thread.

In particular, i would go along with categorizing in four sections because it does blatantly favor forwards.

That is why they pick the team of the year also biggrin.png

and i haven't yet read one sensible explanation for david luiz being in it.

Keeping John Terry out of it?

  13. The wages for the players whilst ridiculous, doesn't come out of the taxpayers pocket + they pay tax on it, so what's the problem?

I suppose the anger is because match tickets are so high that it prohibits a man taking his kids along etc.

Go see a lower league team. Cheaper to get in, better football plus Bovril, Burgers and Pies are still achievable. Up the O's.

PS You don't want to pay an exorbitant entry fee to see Man U, they didn't even have a shot at goal in their last match, so this would make a person angry, wouldn't it Mr Red? biggrin.png

Exorbitant? Not one shot at goal? cheesy.gif

Well if that was true tongue.png indeed it would ....for some but not the majority of real football fans who follows there teams through thick and thin...rebuilding..transition...Bangkok or whatever you want to call it!

You should know that following the O's biggrin.png
