  1. I think the OP must be looking for this: Memantine (Namenda).to treat memory and other forms of cognitive impairment caused by underlying Alzheimer's disease. ????????????
  2. I am in the same position as you. Thankfully my post is not time sensitive.
  3. It works ok for me on the PC. I don't have it on my phone. I only have one small gripe and that is you can't part pay with the wallet and pay the balance by C.O.D. You have to have sufficient funds in the wallet to make a purchase. I don't remember the details of how to set it up because it is more than a year ago since I did mine but it was a cinch.
  4. It is very easy to activate the wallet for farangs. They put you through a painless procedure part of which you send them a pic of your Passport info page. It only takes a few minutes. It is to verify who you are and to prevent you from having more than one account. Just click on activate and follow the on screen instructions. Peace ID
  5. I meant "not to be like everyone else" in the much wider context of Thai society and not just in the Thai bar girl fraternity/culture. I never commented anything about expats tattooed or otherwise.
  6. On Forums there are always some pedantic keyboard warriors who are looking for a dust up and this Forum seems to have more than it's fair share.. Have it your own way dude I have no incination to get into a war of words with you. Peace ID
  7. Yes, I agree. However, my focus was on her reply to the why question. I should have stated that I have asked this question many times before and received various replies, but basically the answers have been something like, I do it because I work in the bar and it's what we do.
  8. I recently spoke with a bar girl who had many tattoos and peircings, she also had very short streaked blond hair. I asked her that very question, why?. Her answer was "I don't want to be like everybody else" I was thinking, good for you girl. She is the first Thai person I've met who doesn't want to be a lemming. As a heavily tattooed person myself, I respect everyone's right to their individuallity. Or, using Thainess . . . get tattoo . . .don't get tattoo . . . up to you. Peace ID .
  9. Unfortunately these kind of things are happening more frequently these days. I try to avoid buying from Chinese sellers but, if I can only get the item from China, I ask a lot of questions of the seller. If they skirt around the quetions with vague answers, then I don't order. It's a real shame because there are lots of good sellers from China using the Lazada platform.. As has already been pointed out the platform does have a very good return and refund system.
  10. Thanks @seedy, I will follow it up. ID
  11. Hi all, I was in Chiang Mai back in June and I noticed that there appeared to be a significant amount of new Tattoo Shops springing up. I am going to be over there again in September and I am wanting to get a new tattoo and I am looking for recommendations for a good Tattoo Artist. The tattoo will be mainly Old Skool, but it shouldn't be a challenge for any good artist. So, if any of you good people know of such, please let me know. Thanks ID
  12. After viewing some recent you tube videos taken in Loy Kroh Road, I can confirm it was not the Curve Bar.
  13. I would just like to make it clear that the fact the perpetrator was a ladyboy, is just that, a fact. In no way was I singling out that particular gender for condemnation. We all know there's good and bad in all sections of society. However the ladyboys are quite prominent in the news for committing violence and theft. You can add and subtract their junk as much as you like but in my opinion it doesn't seem to change the mind set.
  14. I think you are probably right. The atmosphere didn't appear to be the same as I remember it.
  15. Me, or the ladyboy? ????
  16. Wow! So funny, did you always aspire to be a comedian or is it a recent trait? Either way I find you about as funny as Herpes!
  17. I had a rather unpleasant experience in a Loy Kroh Road bar last weekend. I had a friend visiting me from the UK. We decided to have a long weekend in the big city. On the first night we went into a bar which was situated near the Entertainment Centre but actually on Loy Kroh road. There were 3 ladies standing outside and 1 lady behind the bar. There were no customers inside the bar. Because it was quiet we went inside and ordered a beer, the 3 ladies from outside came in and asked for us to buy them a drink. We politely declined stating that we would not be staying long because we wanted to check out other newly opened bars, the ladies stayed with us having a general chit-chat. During this exchange the lady from behind the bar came to stand with the others. We didn’t notice that another person was now behind the bar but we soon did notice. It was a ladyboy who shouted at us, if you are not buying lady drinks then get out of my bar. Huh! At first we thought it was a joke, but no, the ladyboy was really angry and told us to settle the bill and get out and do it now, so we did! The only comfort we got that was during the whole weekend not surprisingly, we never saw another customer in that bar. I have been in Thailand for 20 years and never encountered that behaviour in any bar!
  18. I was on Ramipril 10mg per day. When I moved to Thailand I sought an alternative because of the price. A doctor advised me that Anapril 20mg is an equivalent medication. I buy it here in Chiang Rai at the Pharmacy on the main road in town just up from the Wiang Inn and directly opposite Greenwing Honda. The cost is 120 Baht for 100 tablets.
  19. @ezzraI had my Gallbladder removed back in February this year. Keyhole surgery was the method at Chiang Rai Government Hospital. Because I had a lot of post-operative pain I spent 3 nights in the hospital voluntarily because of the access to Morphine as nothing else would kill the pain. Total cost was 32,000 Baht and I have had no further problems or pain. Good luck with your pending surgery.
  20. The would be robber tried to GRAB the gold but the shop manager refused to PANDA to his needs, and put his life on the LINEMAN.
