    I pay my rent to an SCB bank account every month using the deposit machine. I do not need to insert any card and I just input the bank account number. I know that they were going to introduce the need to insert a card last year but it was never actually done.

    Been a few years since I deposited money inside a bank (usually small amounts but up to 30,000 Baht), never been asked for my passport.

    Hardly an unprecedented move! Maybe they were the original rules but they were changed maybe 8 to10 years ago. At that time individual schools were still allowed to make their own rules though.

    Why would cisgender people be even remotely likely to face discrimination?? I was born a man, I live life as a man and I have no problem when other people refer to me as a man. Mind you with all the woke nutters about I suppose that me being very happy being a man will be a crime soon.

    Please enlighten us. How much do doctors earn in public hospitals? I see so often people state that nurses and doctors are poorly paid, but I never see them tell how much they actually earn. Are you just guessing how much they get paid?

    Not only is the ban on alcohol sales before 11 AM and between 2 - 5 PM totally ridiculous, it makes absolutely no sense. At those times my local 7-11 cannot sell alcohol but I can go into the bar next door and buy a beer at twice the price! If alcohol sales are banned why are bars allowed to sell it at these times?

    Interesting. In most economies (as far as I am aware), house and land prices are driven by supply and demand and are not related to the actual building costs. It amazes me how many properties are unoccupied in Thailand simply because so many cannot afford to buy or rent them at the prices being asked, Prices should be falling, not increasing.

    Although I hardly think that the Baht soared on the election results, it was short lived. Thai Baht against the USD today is at its lowest this month!

    I don't keep track but there are hardly weekly articles about this behavior. Maybe 2 in a year reported?

    I am amazed how many are getting their knickers' in a twist about this condo being described as high end, I have seen high-end condos rented for less than this. But I suppose that the lower rent means it is not high-end? The owner had dropped the rent to actually get a tenant. The other similar condos in the building were 30,000 + so they were high end and mostly unoccupied.
