  1. Some guys really make me laugh!

You have nothing to offer this lady in regards to support, you're broke! you really need to go home and make something of yourself in the future. I don't know how old you are but any Farang who has to sell noodles from a cart with his lady is NO prize catch!

So what, she has an ex husband. To be honest he sounds like a Thai version of you! what gives you the right to take over another man's children? at least he makes an effort (little as it may be) to spend time with the kids.

To be honest your little lady has some issues or she wouldn't be involved with you or the ex!

  2. When I'm there, there's only 3 of us. Me, Henry from Holland and Giere the Norwegian pig. I'm not a Giere fan, he invites you round and never offers a drink. I hate that, it's very rude. I don't go round there much anymore. Norwegian people are lovely, but Giere isn't. Henrys a great neighbour, great guy to know. The locals call the village the falang village, so maybe they would say yes it is a falang ghetto, but I think since there's just 3 of us, must mean theres not many westerners around and not a falang ghetto.

Even in Bangkok there’s plenty of areas where you won’t see many foreigners.

I got a shoe box up in Din Daeng and it’s like Ghetto Central, Thai that is and it’s rarely that I see any other foreigners in the immediate neighborhood while 15 minutes away they’re like everywhere.

You happen to know a Thai girl that lives there named Chonticha Emgosa?

  3. I like the first sentance of the op. Like no one will ever believe what happened to me! I've personally always had great minivan drivers in really decked out comfy vans. Always felt safer than the big buses. Those can be terrifying at times.

Nevertheless, it remains driver dependant. You can never be sure.

Most proffessional drivers drive safely in Thailand. Once in awhile you are unlucky, like David48 stated.

    You never know

Are you serious? I've logged many a kilo in Thailand and almost all of it was with "Professional drivers".....Most either drove like a total fool, were high on drugs or just stone cold drunk.

    Maybe I was just unlucky!

  4. I've tried doing a search on this topic along with TRYING to contact USCIS regarding the needed requirements for my in laws. My wife is Thai and living in the States on a perm resident visa, we also have two young children whom are both US citizens.

Can anybody please provide any information regarding a family visit visa? we are wanting them to visit for a few weeks and I can't seem to find out what forms are needed or what the process actually is.

    Thank you for any info.
