Dont know, looks as if he has serious problems, his tits are bigger than my wifes, must be the hormones, should stop eating at KFC, the Thais where I live tell thats why there are some many katoey in Thailand these days, its the hormones in the chicken.

FYI I always take $10 and 500 Bhat but I never show my Thai money and just act like I own the place...aka have confidence. 10 90 day visa runs never been asked for Bhat.

I usually go there every 90 days but instead of going north at Chiang Rai I would do the border crossing in Laos. I haven't stayed in Myanmar more than a few hours but Loa is more like Thailand. Although I hate their currency but if you do Lao just take a bunch of Bhat. Just depends the type of visa you have. I have only met one person that went to Burma to stay a few weeks so I'm guessing you can. But Lao > Myanmar.

Nice if she were caught and named and shamed. And if found guilty, she should be forbidden to change her name (so she can't hide her identity), and her ID card stamped with a big red "S" (for scumbag) which would prevent her from being employed anywhere in the entertainment industry and make her eligible for instant jail if found guilty of even a parking ticket.

Trujillo is right to bring this situation to our attention. I had no idea it was so bad there. I haven't been in five years. Surely they make a ton of money and something can be done. I willing to help join the effort if there is something we can all do to improve the situation.

After being a visitor to Taronga Park Zoo in Sydney over many years,acknowledged as one of the worlds best it is indeed depressing to go to the CM Zoo and the Night Safari "Zoo"

I'm not convinced that animal species preservation it high on the agenda at either although they will of course deny that. We have no intention of going back but guess it might be high on the list for

visitors from China and they will keep the turnstiles ticking over.

I know I just said I'm not keen on zoos BUT I was planning on visiting the night safari soon. Now you've burst my bubble. Is it that bad?

Actually the Night Safari is quite good - real enclosures etc, though they still do the posing with tiger cubs and stuff that is endemic in Asia.

That's one thing in CM I have never done, the night safari. Have to put that on the list but I get tired of seeing Animals exploited so I tend to try and not support. I know when I have done my 90 day visa runs I take candy for children at the border but don't give money. It's all kinda sad but all children like candy and I refuse to help those that exploit these poor kids...so candy is a good choice and I grab a few bags at the check out of Tops.

I have been to the Tiger Kingdom and taken some photos but I would never go into a cage after watching that dude in Alaska get all friendly with wild grizzlies that got him and his GF eaten. One time I was there and this couple was in the cage and the handlers were going ape chit and I was like oh here we go. So there are Tigers in there with a head the size of a Thai torso and these Thai guys were going crazy due to red ants. Like being bitten by a red ant is so bad when there we 2-3 tigers in the open. I just had to shake my head.

I can think of one poster I would like to see in with the Tiger!

Is anyone playing online poker currently in Thailand or CM? If so, which sites do you use? In the past, I used Poker Stars but that was 3 years ago. If the original poster has as much trouble figuring out what to do on something so simple maybe he shouldn't be teaching anything. It's not rocket science and if you can't manage a couple google searches or simple Thai rules what's the point of asking a question when you didn't seem to do an ounce of research?

Bikey has two locations and is the best place to rent a motorbike as I have rented monthly 2 of the past 3 years and the owners are Thai and on the up and up and don't try to screw western folks like me. From the NW corner of the moat travel about 1km towards the mountain and it's on the left hand side. Bring a copy of your passport. Goggle them if you need more info, the husband and wife are very nice people and they have a great staff and many to choose from.

I've been using powerhouse for about 9 months. Year membership was 12k, which is reasonable.

Staff are nice, it's clean but a little small and no pool.

Oh, and they've no punch bag which is really a low tech cheap piece of equipment.

I left CM for a year and was hoping to read about a new fitness club. I had lived in CM the previous 3 years and the nicest club or the closest to America was Cali Wow. It wasn't cheap but I didn't care because it was clean and they maintained fairly well before they closed a few months before I left.

Fitness Thailand sucks but deadly that was the last place I worked out before I left...I hated when Thai ladies would chat on their cell phones when I was trying to do cardio next to them at WOW and at Fitness Thailand the dudes grunt and have no gym manners. FT is dirty as hell and the equipment was horrible. I miss the hell out of Thailand but that place would be the absolute worst gym in Seattle.

With the size of Chiang Mai, it blows my mind that there really isn't a place that caters to clients willing to pay more. I was actually going to email a couple of the 5 star hotels to find out if I could buy a membership. Sounds like when I move back to CM I will have to slum it to get a good workout.

Was Ken Owens the Asian American from Hawaii? He graduated from the Un. of Washington like me but I never drank much. I think he died in late '12 or early '13.
