Depends what you mean by furniture.
If me I would head for, Seacon Square, Paradise Park or Central Bang Na.
Heck theres even Ikea Bang Na.
By furniture I dont mean Index or the like.
I need a sofa bed and a timber wardrobe

I have been buying kamagra jelly of a street stall near nana bts for years, it is real and does the job.
50 baht for 1 or 900 baht for 50 = 18 baht each

Anyone know a furniture shop somewhere near on nut or bang na?
Thanks

Yes, Phrapradaeng, apart from the odd school teacher I am the only farang there.
The locals treat me like a local.

Does anyone know an aged care facility somewhere near the following areas, Phrapradaeng, Phra Samut Chedi, Rat Burana, or anywhere along Suksuwat Road area.
Father inlaw needs somewhere to go.

Father in law has had 2 strokes and needs somewhere to go as I am tired of all the family complaining about who looks after him and who pays for what.
Easier to put him somewhere comfortable and my wife and I will pay, shut them all up.

My mother in-law sends her daughter (not my wife) across the road to the atm to do her banking from her shop.
The daughter (36) takes 100 baht commission even though she works and gets rent from property.
That is a cheap S daughter take from her mother that way.
When I do it for free I don't get talked to by the daughter for weeks.

I am daily reading in the news something that America has said about another country,
seems like every day they WARN some country about something they don't like.
Yesterday they warned china about a no fly zone somewhere, day before they warned north korea about more sanctions.
Today they don't except the thai junta and 1 year to an election.
When will America realise no one cares about their warnings, and what they except, especially thai military.
America should clean up there own back yard before they go telling other countries what to do and how and when to do it.
Blow away American and mind your own business.
Fix your own country before telling other countries what to do with theirs

I probably should have said gay specific hotel that has a steam or sauna room.
And a gay bar

Sukhumvit is my favourite place in Bangkok, unfortunately I can't find a gay or bi friendly hotel there.
I usually stay up sukhumvit soi 4 or soi 8 in a hotel.
Does anyone know a gay or bi friendly hotel in that area.
Please do mention silom on Babylon hotel,
Around nana or asok is great.
Thanks

I sent a mobile phone ( - the battery) in January from Australia to phrapradaeng.
Needless to say it did not get to phrapradaeng
And I did not have it insured.
A wild guess I would say some postal worker in thai now has a nokia phone.

Yesterday we were in Asoke and went into a pharmacy, a wheel chair in there was 8500 baht.
I bit expensive I thought.
Then we went to a big pharmacy near sukhumvit soi 4
my (thai) wife went in alone.
Same chair in there for 4000 baht.
I presume the 8500 baht in the asoke pharmacy was farang price.
A hospital is the obvious place to look.
One in Silom has chairs for 2000 baht.
Thanks for all the input

My wife used to work 6 days a week in an office while i stayed home.
I did the washing and ironed her work clothes day for the next days work.
Quiet often she would fine fault with something on a shirt I ironed, which did not bother me anyway, a little amusing if anything.
I would watch her iron a shirt and she was meticulous , the shirt would be perfect when she finished.
I have noticed other things like her ironing that she does with perfection.
I just think it is the thai way for some to have pride in every thing they do.
There are a lot of people in this forum who post rubbish comments in everybody else's post.
Maybe they should do some ironing instead of typing

Change it at BKK airport.
Travelex is the only airport currence changers in AU.
They will give you about 5 baht per dollar less than anywhere else.
If you get 25 baht in the $ you are lucky even though the exchange rate is about 32.
BKK airport will probable give you 29.5 to 30 baht per $

Motherinlaw wants me to get her a satellite tv system
I havn't got a clue who to get.
She tells me for 3000 baht she can get a satellite tv system with no monthly payments.
As far as i was aware all tv requires a monthly payment after installation.
My wife looked around and she told me 6000 baht .
I would appreciate some usefull advice on what satellite tv company to use and if in fact there is a package does not require monthly payments

My favourite place is Erawin mueseum.
A 40 metre high 3 headed elephant with a temple in the belly.
Mueseum has ancient buhdist relics
Some beautifull park grounds. A relay peacefull place.
150 baht entry.
Take BTS to Bearing and then a atxi for 100 baht.

I have had a few run ins with taxi drivers mostly over turning on the meter or going 50 k in the wrong direction.
They all think we are rich dumb farangs.
The most recent being in Samut Phrakan near the ferry terminal.
We got a taxi from my wifes uncles house to the ferry to go home to Phrapradaeng.
She left her bag in the taxi with her phone in it.
After he drove off i called her phone for 30 minutes untill it was obvious he was going to keep the bag.
Nothing in it but her phone and id card.
I did not get the taxi number.
It is a yellow and green and what makes it stand out is the taxi has I LOVE FARANG on the drivers side window in white stickers.
So obviously he was out of his territory in Samut Phrakan and he would be a tourist area taxi.
I would love to hear from anyone that knows an i love farang, yellow and green taxi.
I have seen it once in Sukhumvit in soi 4 while i was sitting in a bar.
Unfortunatly he was gone by the time i got after him

Last time we were in Australia i bought kangaroo steaks about 3 kg.
Froze them wrapped them put em in a cooler bag and then in the suitcase and brought it back to Thailand.
Kangaroo was still cool when the motherlaw got it that night.
Next day everyone in the soi had kangaroo chilli .
They all loved kangaroo,
But then i have seen them eat rats and lizards to.
BUt they wont touch baked beans or vegemite
-
The baked beans i get from tops are SPC brand. Australian.
Baked beans on toast, breakfast of champions.

To bad no one can give you a sensible answer.
There is a hotel called sukhumvit hotel just off sukhumvit soi 8, it is ok and about 1000 baht.
Let me know if you want more info on it.
Or in soi 4 there is a café with 6 rooms upstairs, they are clean and recently refurbished,, again about 1000
