Don't get it Etherus, who said you were strange???

As far as I know you will be able to get something for this price if you shop around in Ao Nang. So not only by the sea front but up at the back of the road that leads up past MacDonalds and out to the sticks a bit. Ask in some of the local bars (minus girls) and you will get a good answer

Hi Lao Po and Yorkman etc,
Lao Po did a sterling job at getting this news 'on air' as soon as it happened. Lao Po I only touched your big blue text as we don't tend to support 'shouting' on TV. Didn't touch your words. Just removed Taxexiles 'shouting' too !!! And I believe Lao Po, Yorkman and Dekka all need a huge thanks for their contributions to this thread. Thanks guys... a way interesting read...

Interesting. I like Khun Chairat - used to hang out with him at his club a few years back. Shame in a way about the food as it's part of local culture but I guess all the big businesses want to profit...

What's going on 'ear then eh?
-
'Pilot Captain Peter Burkill is being hailed today as a hero'
-
Hi Yorkman ans Dekka. What is AAIB please and can you explain 'short finals' again please It's all very interesting
-
Good on ya Bina ...
-
Yes it will be so interesting to see what the pilots and flight recorder say. As someone who doesn't know anything about flying... it looks to me that this pilot did a great job missing the road etc

When you get the little New 24 box clich on 'Launch in Stand Alone...' and wait a couple of minutes then it pops up in Real Player LIVE
-
Here is the link just click News 24 at the top of the page. Takes a while to load but worth it
-
Oneinthailand try here but I can't find the 'Watch Live' button

The BBC read out what the pilot said as it was coming down. He lost power just before touchdown, pulled the nose up manually (?) and dropped it on the grass. It sounded as though he had only seconds to do this before it 'fell' naturally. Brilliant I'd say
-
Looks like the undercarriage/wheels were sheared off as it belly flopped onto the grass. Just heard the cab driver speak, he said the plane passed about 25 feet above his car
-
Just been on BBC news that the pilot lost ALL power and did an absolutely sterling job, brought the nose up then 'belly flopped' it onto the grass just before the runway. It skidded along quite a way and then came to a halt off the right hand side. A passenegr on board said there was no panic and that the crew were brilliant, shoots opened within minutes and the entire passenger group evacuated also in minutes.
The people at the airport say the pilot 'deserves a medal'

Hi Andi, Why Emerates and Quatar?
-
Thanks for this Lao Po. Top marks for quick reporting !!! This could have been really bad, thank goodness the pilot landed it where he did
-

Might be worth noting that in Thai Tripitaka is usually pronounced Try Pitok
-
Whats the second one of TG?
-
No I'm not joking. I meant that they were probably trying to get into Thailand to escape the hel_l hole of Burma
-
Good luck Moss. Your doctors sound more switched on than mine. Let me know what your results say

Thanks PB. So is it the fact that it's bottoms that makes gay men more vulrnerable ie as the protection against bacteria is lessened there? Or is it promiscuity that hightens the risk? All very interesting. The bottom thing is widely practised in Arabic countires I have heard. Wonder if they have this bug there?
