Feel free to post a credible link to the contrary
Syria’s rebel leader courted the world. Now his forces stand accused of a massacre
Government has allegedly killed 750 members of minority groups – Alawites, Christians and DruzeSharaa’s government now stands accused of massacring members of minority groups – Alawites, Christians and Druze – in response to a series of ambushes by gunmen apparently loyal to the former regime of Bashar al-Assad.
Approximately 750 civilians have been killed, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a London-based war monitor. Also in the OP from "France 24"
Did YOU read your links? The evidence to the contrary iscthere. Where does it say it was the security forces who committed the atrocities? Everything is an unverified allegation. It has always been known there is deep deep antagonism towards the Alawites from many Syrians after what the Russian backed Alawite Assad did to the Syrian people. And who can blame them? Sharaa is doing his best to contain the inter-faith animosity, but it runs very deep. Sharaa has made a lot of progress over what many saw as insurmountable hurdles in trying to move Syria forward. Many in the West just don the blinkers and carry on screaming about head choppers and baby burners. It's revolting language. They should be prosecuted. Goebbels would have been proud of them I'm sure.

Why not do this in China?
I guess because in the past scamming your countrymen from a foreign location has allowed them to escape prosecution while reaping the massive benefits.

They don't want to disparage Syrians before they open the floodgates to all the doctors and engineers arriving on dinghys to save us from ourselves and our awful colonialist past.
There's not enough jail spaces for social media posting indigenous grannies voicing opposition to it.
Rabid.

Massive protests now in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Columbia University after Jihadist regime of Ahmed Al-Sharaa slaughtered hundreds of men, women and children in Syria.
Unbelievable rubbish. They're not jihadists. Neither did they slaughter 100s. And that graphic - mind boggling!

Jolani's Al-Queda/ISIS head-choppers go door-to-door murdering unarmed Christians, Druze, and Alawites, and Jolani blames it on Assad. I've seen some of the videos (which I'm sorry I watched - I won't do that again) and it's just horrendous. In the meanwhile, the West tacitly supports these genocide. Hell, the UK even lifts sanctions. "Keep killing and chopping heads! The UK/EU/US are behind you sharpening your knives!"
Western Asia seems to now be the land of Western condoned genocide in the name of "Freedom" and "Democracy." Ahhh, we truly live in freaking Hell. What a load of complete tosh.

Every day, same same. Who's paying them 1.6 million pm? Do the police ever get any further in their enquiries? How are the payments made? Thai bank account? And where are the punters? Is it slots? So many questions, and so few answers.

Can you share a bit more info? I'm thinking of going to that hospital as I'm currently in Koh Chang. Did you have to meet the doctor first and then book the colonoscopy, or can you book it directly? How much did it cost? Cheers.
It was a long time ago so my info would be way out of date. I don't remember costs. I paid myself as I wasn't insured at the time, so it wouldn't have been enormous. Maybe 30k? The gastro doctor prescribed the procedure. I stayed in overnight. I think the pre-med, the incredibly strong laxative they make you take along with a lot of water, actually got rid of the problem I was experiencing. After that I had no further internal examinations for maybe 10 years.
I never had a problem at Trad Bangkok hospital. Used them for many years as I lived on Koh Mak. But that was the only IP experience I had with them. You could go to Chantaburi as there are a couple of private hospitals there, or try Trad government hospital. YMMV!

Time to go after the EC then.

I got quotations from both.
Cigna with high prices and Pacific Cross with loads of exceptions.
Both not recommended.
Check out WRLIFE
Wrlife have agreed cover for keyhole surgery for removal of early stage tumour on colon, and all pre op and post op procedures. Took a week or so, but it's expensive so I was happy they took their time. At BPH. They've covered all my claims to date, involving 12 days IP. Not difficult to deal with, either directly or through their agent. I had to hand deliver medical records from a previous hospital (Memorial) to the BKK offices of their underwriters, Assist International. Had a really good lady Bolt driver who found the offices, tucked away in a large modern office block off Rama IX. Extremely nice people there, English well spoken, impressive set up, IMHO. I was glad I made the trip. Put a lot of demons to rest. And my 2 year AFIB moratorium has completed, so I'm now covered for coronary. 10,700 pm at age 75.

Heard Zoom was an alternative but not tried it (and not read 7 pages of comments either. Could somebody summarise the alternatives?).

I'm just an ignorant limey, but my Wise $ account is held in a New York bank. Does this help? I don't begin to understand the US banking system.

Not sure why it can't be developed as a gambling/entertainment/hospitality complex. With the high speed rail link to Bangkok, a coach station, decent 4/5 star hotels etc etc, proper connectivity to Pattaya and Rayong ... Surely a no brainer? Er, meaning it doesn't take a lot to see the potential!

Im concered about how cancer is being treated, being chemo and radio being the only option.
do you think when some dud doctor in pattaya (especially in B@ngkok hospiyal) tells one that theyve got some sort of SERIOUS cancer, its better to take nature its course instead of being an experiamental rat posioned with all the expensive goodies which they [ossibly know that they mostly wont work, squeezed all the monies from the patients and their familes for their happy fruitful retirement wealth passed on to their next gens?
it is hard to distinuish the doctors with their smiles, and i can see dollar signs shining in their eyes and ear to ear grins. im scared... i guess i will have some beers
Any insurance company will want a lot of detail on the oncologist's diagnosis as the recommended treatment is likely to be extremely expensive. I look at this as a safeguard gainst fraudulent claims on your behalf by unscrupulous, even criminal, doctors, if such exist. So in a sense, the insurer's medical team will act as a kind of second opinion. If they give the go ahead, I think you can be sure there's nothing funny going on, and the agreed treatment is approved as appropriate.

When, where, why, and how frequent are the blackouts?

About bloody time.

In the end I grabbed a Bolt return. Cost 2450 return. But I was able to ensure delivery which can be unreliable by other means. The lady driver was exceptional. Good English, good driver, and found her way to a really difficult location. Accompanied me to help translation etc. I got the job done!
Just as a note, I was delivering my previous hospital's nedical records to WRLife's Bangkok insurer's office, Assist International Services. Smart office and very smart Thai staff speaking faultless English. Glad I went myself! Very heartening to see them in the flesh.

Taxi heading back to Bangkok 🙂 That way you only have to pay for one way.
Yes, I checked Bolt for one way. About 1100 THB. I'm prepared to deliver this myself so could do a return trip. For tomorrow possibly.

Maybe wrong group, but I need to send docs to arrive same day before close of business. Any ideas on the quickest way?

When will the government bring in a mandatory annual MOT (in the UK, stands for Ministry of Transport) certification or equivalent? Emissions testing too. Would provide a lot of employment and training too. Win win.

You forget, we've been able to grow babies in a tube for years now.
So live in your Brave New World, or call it the Matrix, or whatever. How long will the human race survive without women, if that's the ultimate goal of the manosphere? And a whole race derived from a limited supply of eggs and sperm? I see massive genetic fxxx ups. No diversity, so essential to human survival and yet so repulsive to right wingers, no Thai/farang kids, no racial interaction. Just a rapidly shrinking gene pool. You look at Putin's Slavic purity postulates. And then at Hitler's Aryan lies. Men dreaming their little men dreams.
Men have ruled (ruined) this planet for aeons. Ladies, over to you.

Massacres in Syria as Violence Escalates Between New Government and Assad Loyalists
in World News
Posted
The Independent has no verifiable sources to support the claim. It claims "his soldiers gunned down 100s of civilians". But in fact the link is to clashes between the security forces and armed Alawite militia. Assad's supporters are mounting attacks against the security forces.
A credible link to the contrary? This is always your tactic, right? Quote some bs article without foundation or verifiable facts, and then challenge anyone to disprove it. There is no proof in the first place, and as Hitchens rightly said, what can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof. Where's your proof? Some two bit articles from MSM? Even the dubious Syrian Human Rights Observatory can't come up with any. You're just spreading lies.
