It's not the streaming service, it's the fibre optic cables themselves that have been compromised. I guess it's been on the cards for a long time that some group or other would sever the links. Maybe starlink is the only answer.
Yes, but since then they managed to keep the link up somehow, I guess by rerouting. Now, it's all gone to hell. This morning was good, but that collapsed later. I tried Nord on my box but could get nothing at all, using Hong Kong and the US.
I'm experiencing really bad buffering on almost every channel on my IPtv box. 3bb say an undersea cable has been severely damaged between Asia and Europe. Could be as a result of the crap going down in the middle east I guess. They say it could take weeks to fix.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Ah, quality journalism.
"... but swiftly removed his trousers in an attempt to overpower her."
I must remember that move on my nightly prowls rounds Jommers. Kudos for managing to escape with trousers around ankles.
In related news, a man fell over while attempting to escape a shoe shop when he discovered the shoes he'd pinched were tied together. DOH!
Here's the root of the problem:
"the Department of Industrial Works and the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Suppression Division."
Ever heard of them before? Just another couple of do nothing departments nobody even knew existed. The Thai civil service, 400,000 paper shufflers on a fat wage and pension, with preferential treatment by the banks and high levels of personal debt.
Yes, "We're in the Nepo generation..."
The power to legislate rests with parliament. End of. Any proposed amendments to any section of Thai law are quite permissible. They could never, and should never, be seen as an attempt to overthrow the state. It's a complete mockery of the justice, legal and parliamentary systems. The CC doesn't have the power to issue such a damning and damaging verdict. Full stop. MFP are guilty of nothing. No case to answer. Case dismissed.
Flogging a dead horse but proposing an amendment to any law is entirely within the remit of parliament. It's not a constitutional issue. This is a gross violation of parliamentary freedom. The CC should be disbanded immediately. If they want to ring fence such matters, they should remove them from the Thai legal system, overseen by parliament, and place them in the constitution. I really hope MFP vigorously argue this point.
Cue the parrot sketch. I watched the whole video of this insane event. The clerk really was extremely mild in her reaction, commenting he doesn't look well. I really was hoping the niece would come out with no, no, he's just resting. Ghoulish humour.
