It's not clear from the headline what belonging to a ladyboy was rounded up.
Be gentle. It's probably a sad and lonely apostrophe that got separated from its flock and was looking for some company.
Clearly it doesn't belong.

Very odd, all the RIP-merchants are quiet on this one. Couldn't be because a police officer was the victim, could it?
RIP
condolences to his loved ones.

Seems Brits are just like Thais.. need to have it from numbers. (sorry the standard remark the expats make when its one on many so I do the same) Just to show its not only Thais but also Brits that are cowards.
Thanks for raising the level of the conversation.
You forgot to mention the knife-wielding drunken Fin.

To quote Stephen Fry,
“It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so <deleted> what."- 1

The world's major currencies are affected by their countries own domestic economic situation. Yet the Thai baht's value appears to be impervious to Thailand's economic frailties.
Why?

Damn... I should have gotten a Beggar's Degree.
Now that beggars belief. Do you think we can beg our way into the Beggar's Banquet ? I have my beggar's bowl.
Sorry for being so flippant.
Beg your pardon.

The baht is kept artificially high by being pegged to the USD.
If the currency were allowed to float it would definitely start sinking which would be great for exports and tourism but not so good for importers of eg. luxury items.
Now, who buys luxury items?

Never been much of a democracy, but Article 44 confirms that the place is now a one man dictatorship.

The reaction of so many passersby was either prearranged (why?) or a spontaneous reaction. Hard to be certain of the reality of the situation but rather be safe than sorry. Benefit of the doubt to the idea of spontaneity though I don't reckon the video is much evidence if the case comes to trial, unless there is audio of the guy threatening to throw the child.

It's the way the BIB immediately leap to the suicide theory on virtually every occasion. They do more leaping to suicide than do the poor deceased.

More of a turnip than a swede.

Police reenactments are such perverse publicity stunts, especially in the cases when the accused pleads innocence.

And as the sun sets to end another day in the Land of Smiles, I'll drink a toast to the posters on Thaivisa for confirming to me yet again, that I am not the maddest hatter of them all.

I did the same thing once and it lasted for four years.
I did the same thing twenty seven years ago and it hasn't stopped yet.
