  1. Yep that is definitely a bloke dressed in womens underwear. He does even look the slightest bit like a woman no wonder the American told this ugly bloke to bugger off. The Thai guy probably said to the American, "Do you think I am pretty" and when he was told the truth, your a dog he got upset.

Always a pleasure to read illiterate and ill-informed speculation in the pages of ThaiVisa of a Monday morning.

Now come on ladies, put your handbags down. It's a bit early for swinging them.

  2. The problem with the argument of the critics here is that you're all basing your opinions on the processed snacks that CP sell at 7-11. CP offer many more higher quality offerings in other areas which would likely be what they are going to use in an operation like this. An example would be the quality meat that is sold for a premium in supermarkets like Tops, e.g. the Kurobuta Pork or various marinated chicken fillets. They are delicious. If you ever see one of the CP "butcher" shops around (there's one in Thonglor for instance) they also sell a large range of the same high quality meat.

It's not all frozen ready meal crap. They have fingers in many, many pies.

I can see this being very successful in Australia. Aussies LOVE Thai food and are huge consumers of quick and easy fast food. Usually when something like this other than boring burgers and fries comes out, it does well (e.g. Subway and Nando's have done very well in the last decade or so.)

'...They have fingers in many, many pies'.

    Now that explains it.

  3. Another one I like is along Sri Bumphen near the Malaysia Hotel....

Right now, I wouldn't come close to anything with a word Malaysia in it...

Good reason for avoiding your post?

  4. I get tired of the assumption that 'died of head injuries' means that the victim was not wearing a helmet.

Of course wearing a helmet is better than not wearing one. However any assumption that a helmet affords strong protection when a rider comes off at speed is a fallacy. It's better than nothing but not an automatic lifesaver. Sadly, plenty of riders have been killed wearing helmets.

    None-the-less, it's a sad story. R.I.P.

  5. Thanks for the replies. And to those who so cavalierly assume I was just blindly listening to gossip from a friend check out my post again.

I was trying to verify what I had been told with a discrepancy in what my girlfriend had just observed this afternoon re early to work go-go dancers at Taipan. Her observation apparently undercut the accuracy and credibility of my ex-pat's bud's statement. So obviously I was already having doubts re what he had told me.

It would seem I was engaging "my head" unlike some people who didn't engage theirs enough to really see what was being asked in terms of my post. Next time try reading things from beginning to end.

Btw I did do a search before I posted but at the time I couldn't find any up to date news to help with my question so I turned to the forum in the hopes of finding some constructive clarification. And for those who gave it thank you..

    Welcome to the asylum.

If you've got these then you are at the cutting edge of technology, though i hear that Philips have invented a smaller tape called a cassette. It'll never catch on.post-129261-0-65491300-1400810163_thumb.post-129261-0-91390100-1400810195_thumb.
