There is a pretty big swimming pool at Trinity Silom. You can sunbathe there. Should be pretty close to you.
It is in the old hotel building, not the more newly built one. Its a 3-star hotel, and a bit dated, but has a pretty nice old-style vibe with marble etc. Its clean. Day passes are around 300 I think. You also get access to a small gym, and the mens room has a very nice sauna so I assume the women have one too.
On the floor below the pool there is an outdoor running track, tennis court and a nice garden.
I dont understand this talk of whitening cream and hating on teachers, too many bitter ppl with nothing to do I guess.

Sounds like an american bully.
Its sad that it becomes a fashion to get these dogs when many cant properly look after them.
Even if the steel cage is outdoors it will get very hot in the hot season.
The american bully usually has a good temperament against people.
They are very powerful and need an outlet for their energy.

He might be used for breeding, as they can rent him out to other people who has a female. If he is a good specimen.
Tragic that he has to sit in a box.

Where is the police?
Stuff like this will happen when personal property is not protected. And mobs rule the streets.
The leader of that state is to be blamed.
If the "protesters" had not been setting fires to peoples stuff this would never had happened.
All I saw from the videos was self defence. And a failed state.

Not sure where you are located.
If it is in pattaya maybe contact one of these:
Hope for strays foundation
Soi dog foundation (dont think they are in pattaya, but they may be able to help)
The man that rescues dogs (This is just one guys operation but he helps dogs and is in chonburi)
Usually the dog rescues are quite full, so getting a new pet and healing it would be great karma.

I walk everyday with my dog, an around here where i walk are a lots
of "free" running dogs. I have a bigger dog (bangkaew), but hes still young around 8 months.
They come always in a pack 5-7 dogs barking and want/trying to attack. At the begin
i start defending like shout at them and raise my hand, that worked well because they back off.
But its to stressful for me everytime when i walk to be prepared for a fight.
What worked for me:
Its super easy, I took 2-3 hands of normal dogfood in my pocket, if they come barking and agressive. I dont care and keep cool, i take a hand off dogfood and throw it around to them
like I would feed some birds. At the begin they was surprised "what is this, whats going on?"
But the first one starts to eat the others follow, they totaly ignor me and my dog.
(I guess they dont get enough food anyway from the "owner").
I did this for about 1 week (day number 2-4 they still barking but you will notice the difference, the agressive behavior will go down), now when i come around the corner with my dog, they waiting already quiet and patiently and waiting for some little dogfood.
No barking, agressive attacks or anything else. Even sometimes i forget to take something,
they dont care and be nice, they hope for the next day ????
Hope this will help you, have a good day
And this is how you get good karma! And a relaxing walk!

A sauna should be a very safe place to be. I know the saunas there are pretty small, but as long as you are not cramped.
Havent been yet, so really cant help you much. The locker room is so small so will be difficult to have any kind of distancing there.
Ive been to a couple of gyms now and ppl are going back to normal more and more. Most ppl dont use masks at gyms anymore.
Most likely the gym wont be crowded so you can distance yourself.

At the same time we can't live in lockdown forever. You can get cases from other provinces and the whole thing can start again. I think some businesses can reopen. But I don't think life can go back to the way it was before. I see a future with mandatory mask wear, enforced social distancing on busses etc and without muay thai stadiums and big parties until we get a vaccine or a cure. Also see temp checks in supermarkets and banks just like now, for years to come. Perhaps mandatory masks for serving staff and cooks etc.

There is still an excellent used book store in Chiang Mai, not far from the Thapae Gate. Look on Google Maps for The Lost Book Shop, just inside the moat. It is owned by the same person as the former Backstreet Books, and continues their excellent service. It has a large stock.
Great shop with a relaxing vide. I love browsing their titles. Nice ppl too.

If I remember correctly, this is how it went for me. I could transfer the stamp at immigration in Chiang Mai from old PP to new PP. I did it a couple of months ago. No appointment with Elite needed. Took 20 mins. Next time I travel abroad I transfer the sticker when I arrive at BKK or CM I think as new PP still doesnt have sticker. Perhaps appointment needed for that.
This was a new rule they told me. Anyway not much bother.
Obv need to travel with both PPs.

According to https://www.hindawi.com/journals/av/2011/734690/
it seems that SARS didnt survive nearly as long on surfaces in hot weather according to that study. And droplets may spread further in cold weather according to https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/commentary/hot-climate-wuhan-virus-vaccine-12389694
Not exactly the same virus, but from what I read scientists seem to think they might react the same.

The thai elite visa sticker is valid for 5 years, but Ive heard you get 6 years stay, just enter the country again just before the visa sticker expires, and you get 1 more year. That takes it to 83k per year. Plus you save 2-3 k in taxi savings over 5 years if you use their limo service when you come into the country, one per year. And you skip the queue at suvarnabhum as they escort you when you exit the country and enter the country. I spent more than 53k a year on my student visa, but I dont stay in guesthouses etc when i travel. I spent quite a bit of money going to laos, flying, taxi to the city, hotels, tuk tuk to the embassy, taxi back to the border etc. I calculated on it and estimated i spent around 60k on my visa at the time. If you have the money and will stay for sure I think elite is a pretty sweet choice. You dont have to pay 50-60k a year and worry every time you renew at the embassy, every time you enter the country to active the visa, or worry every time you fly in........

Was this at don muang? They seem to be out to get people more often there. Anyway I used to take that course, and had that visa. It should be OK as long as the stamp is the usual one, and the ppl from the school accompany you as usual to immigration for renewal. Try to enter via land borders if possible next time, seems to work better. You may get better replies if you post this at the visa forum.

I love Thai. Never had any problems booking on their website. Flew premium economy recently to my home country. Could recede my seat to a full lie down bed. Food was great, service also excellent. More expensive than their normal tickets, but not as expensive as business class. I think their regular economy class is alright too, better than the budget airlines, decent seat space and you dont have to buy everything like in the budget airlines.

Just ask for carbon at any pharmacy. There are a couple of versions of carbon I think, but the cheapest one has carbon powder in a capsule you can open up. Just pop one of these open and put the powder on your toothbrush. It does actually work, I do it from time to time, but sometimes get lazy with it as it takes a bit of time to get rid of it once your done. I actually see a difference though. This for me beats other "whitening" methods as it is only absorbing dirt on your teeth, it is not corrosive. Your teeth will not get more sensitive by it, as they can from other whitening methods.
