It's only 8am and I feel like fish n chips today
May I ask is there any place that sells the potato scallops?
Similar to the Aussie type
I went to a wonderful place yesterday called Tinnies pies that sold wonderful pies but the impeccable service and cleanliness of the place was what I describe in my wonderful words of wisdom as .... beautiful.
But I'm after a genuine if I may use that word...in fact the word "specialist" ....or maybe another word to describe a place who only sells fish n chips
I did see Sharples in Jomtien yesterday,it didn't appear to have any customers
Many if you recall in your fine years far far long ago we had Simon's , we had the Jolly ..Roger ? Fryer?
What happened to the British fish and chip shop?
Where is Tinnies, too lazy to Google it.

Just watched unfrosted quite funny and offbeat with jerry Seinfeld its light entertainment with a lot of celebrities
IMDB gives a score of 5.6 which I think is overly generous. I couldn't suffer more than 10 minutes.

Sorry yes of course, my fault as I am not familiar with where Murphy's is.
Salt and Pepper on Khao Talo have an air con section on the right as you go in through the door.
Have eaten there a couple of times, think it's a bit overpriced and small serves, but thanks for the suggestion.

The Welcome Inn at Marbachan is pretty good
Would prefer the Kao Noi, Katolo area if possible.

Have tried Murphy's a few times, and enjoyed the food, but want to try somewhere else that's airconditioned in that general area.

Does anyone have experience buying medicines from INDIAMART? Once I sent medicines from abroad to myself, and I had big problems with customs to have them into Thailand. Is it going to happen if I buy medicines from India and mail them to Thailand. Thank you very much for your help.
I have done over 5 years ago without any problems, can't say how easy it would be now they've introduced import duty on just about everything.

you again? go away
i will explain it slowly for you so you understand
"brand new second hand" simply means brand new to me but second hand
for example, when some says "i just bought a new car"
and they expect others to read their mind and understand it is actually a second hand car
see how words matter
The term that has also been used in music SINCE 1975 to describe something that might be new but not original
or music that is new and taking inspiration from something old
depending on whether you ask Roots Manuva or Peter Tosh
i add 🤡s to ignore list, goodbye."Papa's got a brand new bag" So was it really new or just new to him?

These figures are definitely under reported. In our village alone we have one death and one in ICU.
One guy was fishing in a pond thinking that the water would keep him cool not realizing that the sun was reflecting off the water and he was getting a double dose. He had a heart attack and was very fortunate to be pulled out before he drowned. He is the one in ICU.
The other case is very tragic, an old guy was out in his field alone burning the stubble when he was overcome by the heat. His burned body was found later by his family.
I am fortunate to have solar so have dedicated a room with aircon for our 5 dogs all month.
I have been living in Thailand for 20 years and this is the hottest I’ve ever seen it.
You can run aircon 24/7 purely on solar?

fake an insurance claim job
No way any insurance company would pay out on that. Drunk and asleep on a footpath? Come on.

There is a Flash Express drop-off point on 3rd Road by the LK President hotel. They have wrapping material.
Don't have any idea how much extra you pay, but Kerry will pick up and wrap/box for you as well.

That was made over 10 years ago, your latest one lasted 8 months, you can dispute as much as you want,
B&W have been making products in China for 25 years.

Any brand, whether tools, kitchen appliances, cars etc can get the odd lemon or develop a fault. Read any reviews for B&D products, hard to find too many dissatisfied customers, but people used to say Hyundai and Kia were cheap Korean sh*t, not so much anymore.

The boxes are available at any post office. You can pack your tool there and send it for repair. I suppose that's not too difficult.😂
Alternatively ask in you village who can check that. Also the people at Global or Home Pro will know somebody.
Alternatively, get Kerry (courier) to come and collect and box it as well.

If only a celeb could come up with a pill for common sense, now that would be a winner
"Truth in advertising" is a joke in Thailand, advertisers seem to be allowed to make any kind of false claims they like.

Black and decker is not the "brand" they were years ago. Now its just made in china rubbish, I'd bin it and buy a proper one. Although you could try bypassing the switch yourself
I had a cheaper model B&W weed whacker previously, it ran faultlessly for 10 years, so I dispute the rubbish claim. Also been using an electric lawn mower for 10 years, also Chinese made.

If the claims are false the product shouldn't even be on the market
Thai TV is full of ads for products that are obviously false, like vitamins that give you 20/20 eyesight.

one good reason to buy local...
we also have a nearby handy shop where they do repairs quite reasonably. Maybe try that.
If I bought locaI would still have to send to B&W for repair.

Same when I lived in Saudi. The warranties were greatly reduced, I guess due to the high temperatures, large temperature fluctuations, battery life, etc. If a battery lasted three years you were doing well. Even servicing was a lot more frequent at 5,000 km due to dust and sand etc.
I guess no high temperatures, rough roads or sand and dust in Australia.

Rang them this morning, seems I have to courier the item at my expense to Samut Prakan, there is no official service centre in Pattaya. I was hoping that someone knew of a repair shop that serviced all brands, but I think for peace of mind it might be better to send to the dealership.

Near the end of North Pattaya Road next to the Makita shop is a hardware garden tool repair shop. The Makita shop also has a power tool repair dept.
Virtually next to the bus station.

Murphy's on the Darkside does a great cod (2 pieces) and chips, plus one of the best apple crumbles and icecream I've ever had.
