I ordered mine from directsportseshop.co.uk. I got a pair of KSO's. Wanted KSO trek but they didn't have any. If I like these though I'll get another. I only plan to use these for wearing around the house or if I go on holiday.

Just ordered a pair of these now. They look really nice just for casual use.

Guys i should be back in Thailand in a few months so if anyone wants a pair let me know. You can pay me when I come.

Can these be worn anywhere or are they made for a particular activity? Look very cool but I fear they will get worn out quick.

Bangkok airways seems to charge a bomb to fly from Swampy. 7k bhat each way almost in Dec/Jan period. How long is the bus/taxi ride from Phnom Penh? Or is it not worth the hassle and better off to go direct to Siem Reap? I'm only going to have 4 days there.

I think most mens preference would be for a Thai lady tbh but you could try your luck on some of the known dating sites for men.

No preference for me however the Asian obsession with being whiter leaves me perplexed. Ironically in the west people love to get tanned. I do laugh though when I see pics on facebook of girls with too much of the old ghost cream on. It's like they did their makeup in the dark and no one has told them yet.

I say good on him for not letting the official push him around. It is sad though that so many here think trouble isnt far around the corner for him. Fingers crossed nothing of the sort happens and this whole story is soon forgotten about.

Are you going to generalize these "trend-setters" to all the people in UK? Don't be naive thinking that they don't know who Hittler was, I happend to be Jewish, and when I was at colledge-here- I met once one guy in with a t-shirt with a portrait of hitler and saying: "Kill the Jews whereever you find them, Allah will help yoy" i went to the guy and I told him that I was a Jew, I ask him if he knew who Hittler was and he told me that he did , I was surprised, I asked him if he knew how many millions of jews Hittler killed- including my grandpa and almost all his familly- he told me that he knew it and that Thailand was a friend of Hittler, that Jews deserved to die and that was it, I couldnt take it any more so I beat the hell out of him, and after that people is the uni knew that I was a jew, an they attacked me but my buddhist friends helped me( this is not a problem of relligions, I think , since I dont believe in god), so don't think that they dont know who hitler was, and if you can read thai you will see that many young thais( most of them muslims) wear T-shirts preaching hate against the jews etc

Didn't the Thais bend over for Japan during WW2? Aside from that I'm not sure how well educated they would have been with what went on during that time.

It bothers me slightly but no use dwelling on it as it's not something I can change. It would be interesting though if the shoe was on the other foot. Say if a farang set up some viral campaign to mock something sensitive to Thailand. Eg Burmese invasion or worse yet the chap whose title I will not mention. With social networking I guarantee it would get noticed.

Does a Thai recognise the difference between an Indian of Indian origin and an Indian or western origin? Farang is a silly term to use really. It's a bit like me clumping all Asians down as 'gook' or 'pan head' no offence meant to anyone.

I think Thailand is in for a big shock once ASEAN kicks in. Try to correct a Thai on their English and they usually see it as a loss of face and act not interested. I'm afraid it's too late to change too.

What's the worst that could happen? Don't knock it till you've tried it I say.

This reminds me of an evening back at university. My roommate and I decided to attend a sexual addicts anon meeting in the hope of picking up easy tail. Didn't work but was a fun evening and met some characters. I think we were expecting to walk into a room full of beautiful women who were DTF but the reality was more like walking into a pub where the best looking lady is probably 25 years past her sell by date.
