Technical difficulties, please check back later.

You mean not in the Sukhumvit area? Or, just not on the main road?
Oh, out of the area and not kho san road. Thanks!
-
Hi BKKers...I was hoping to get a tip on a hotel near a BTS stop in Bangkok in the 1000 baht range, preferably not on Sukhumvit. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I think the headline: "Thaksin Flees The Capital" is a very misleading and a bit irresponsible. It insinuates that he is fleeing the governemnt, which he is not.

Normally car is always responsible for injuries to someone on a motorbike, even if they are at fault.
Been in a few accidents myself, and I am only 1/2, but never been blamed for one that wasn't my fault (ok ok, one of them was my fault, but the guy didn't want money).
Get an insurance firm involved, and I think you'll find that the party responsible ends up paying.
but that is BKK, up country might be a bit different..
From the few interviews I've done with foreigners who've had accidents, knowing Thai has been key to getting a fair shake, no matter whose fault it was. If you don't know Thai, get a Thai friend or family member involved quickly.
The "jackpot lottery" mentality with injury is not just a Thai fantasy. It's a regular thing back in the states where you have people faking injuries constantly to try and cash in.
Tonight's interview is revealing, however. I hope you can tune in! 9pm http://www.radiobangkok.net

On the next Thailand Today,
Is it ever not your fault in a vehicular accident with a Thai national? That question gets answered in a compelling interview with a man who went head-on, on the road, and at the police station, with a Thai national. Hear the surprising results on another edition of “Anatomy of a Thai/Farang Car Accident,” on the next Thailand Today.
Can two Thais ever meet as equals? Analyzing and dissecting the ancient Thai cast system.

"How To Make Millions In Thailand"????
Easy, start with BILLIONS.
Come on, this is no time for the truth!!!
-
Once you brand a few 'trendy' Thais...the masses follow like a colony of ants after last night's leftovers left out...
Either that...or get them addicted to something...monopolize the market...and walla! Millions will be flowing in
I do an interview with an Aussie who's making money the old fashioned way. It's not easy here but he's doing it.
Tune in at 9pm! http://www.radiobangkok.net

Is there a listen again section where we can listen to the show if we missed the broadcast?
It's coming any day now. We'll have podcasting and downloads for all archived shows. It's really finally going to happen.
You can tune into tonight's show at 9pm. I interview "Mut" from Bangkok. She'll be a semi regular, recapping stories about Farangs in the Thai language press that don't make it into the Thailand English dailies. Tonight she tells me about a German guy who hands over his life savings to a bargirl for sinsot and then she disappears! ...a tragedy but compelling.

In another edition of Honest Isaan, a Bangkok girl tells the story of a German man and his million baht and how he lost it all to an Isaan girl in a not so clever Pattaya sinsot scam.
“…he didn’t have a million baht. He had only 960 thousand baht.
She said OK. Just put it in my account. When he went to her apartment
later, she was gone…”
Also, what to do and what not to do when choosing your Thai soul mate.
And the answer to the question: What are all these foreign men doing in Thailand?

My analysis of street food does not prevent me from eating. It's almost time for my daily glui thod, sap maaak!
-
A report reveals half of Thais don’t wash their hands before eating and four in ten don’t wash after going to the toilet. I’ll offer a simple solution.
It would be nice to know what you're saying so I can respond.
