  1. I am aware of all these facts. I'm also aware that after lengthy investigation under RM as a special counsel, they found nothing. And you - worse than a MAGA conspiracy theorist as you are - are aware why both mentioned were jailed. Feel free to tell the forum what they were convicted for. And a clue - Russia wasn't it.
  2. Delusional and pitiful. There was no collusion. It's shameful that you are carrying this debunked conspiracy theory. Your second question is dumb. The contents of the laptop were used to prove he was lying about his drug use. Jurors have made it clear they knee he was lying from early in the trial. Here comes the real disaster. Convicted felon Hunter Biden goes on trial in September for tax evasion linked to influence peddling. He has two major problems. At least two of his former business partners will testify that he is lying. At least one will drag personal meetings with Joe into the mix. And the laptop is a treasure trove of incriminating evidence. But, in short. Give it a rest with your conspiracy theories. Leave it to that demented hysterical fool that has polluted this forum for 15 years.
  3. My post is accurate. You're the demented clown hysterically commenting on US politics at 4 am Thai time. You have zero credibility. You're a conspiracy theorist. A sad and lonely old man.
  4. You'd be astounded as to the depth of my knowledge of US politics. And you know well the danger of interacting with me so I suggest you wind your gullible neck in. You have never been in my league. And you know it. I am not predicting the outcome of the election. I stand by my prediction. There is no way Biden leaves office without pardoning Hunter. And do not kid yourself this is the end of Hunter's legal troubles. The validation of the laptop is a nightmare scenario. I've read some of the contents and so inflammatory are they that I will not regurgitate them on this forum. As I know the forum is polluted by people - including and especially you - who spent years spouting that the laptop was a Russian plant. How sick you must be that Biden's DoJ now accuses people like you carrying that nonsense as conspiracy theorists. As does the FBI. How sick you must be that the laptop was the primary tool that convicted Hunter. And how sick you must be that the Delaware jurists are already stating that they felt Hunter's legal team was insulting their intelligence. Theres hope yet for the Democrats, as soon as they expunge conspiracy theorists like you from the cause. ps - the dictionary definition of gullible - describes you well gullible /gŭl′ə-bəl/ adjective Easily deceived or duped. Easily gulled; that may be duped. Easily deceived or duped; naïve, easily cheated or fooled. The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition
  5. Joe Biden will not leave office without pardoning his son. The astounding part of this story is that Hunter has refused to take any responsibility. He had put the judge in a position that he may have no choice but to impose a jail sentence. And while some of you think the pressure will come from MAGA, the real danger for the Biden's will come from the African-American wing. How many young black men would avoid jail under these circumstances? This case has snake-bitten Joe and the venom will flow all the way to election day no matter what.
  6. I concur. The problem for both Biden's now is that the laptop is verified and of use to prosecutors. I detest this current bout of effectively political prosecutions but Pandora's Box is now open.
  7. So a jury has found Hunter guilty in Delaware of all places. This is a good result for America and bizarrely a good result for Joe. He can maintain that no one is above the law, not even his son. The Democrat "who cares" defence is pitiful. This guilty verdict is founded upon the laptop evidence. The sickening and demented "Russian collusion" lie has been exposed by the FBI and DoJ.
  8. Latest reports are that the operation was a success and Eddy is recovering well. Excellent news. Mods, can you lock the thread please.
  9. ??? It's over the counter medication You started off with a patently false insinuation that Thais don't routinely use anti-parasite medication. You are sent a recent medically supervised survey that stated 67.5% of used it in the past year. And you are still arguing. Give it a rest.
  10. Why are you arguing about this? Is your life that shallow?
  11. That's amazing as it was my Thai doctor that put me onto it and told me that he takes them every six months. Maybe you should read this recent study where they found parasites in 10% of a study group in Khon Khaen. A study that found 67.5% of Thais take anti-parasite medication every year. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9860576/ 3.3. Reason for Self-Treatment of Anti-Parasitic Drugs Half of the participants (50.7%) had experienced parasitic infection screening, and from this group, 42% had a diagnosis of parasitic disease. A total of 81% of the participants in this community had the experience of anti-parasitic drug treatment. The most common reason for treatment with an anti-parasitic drug was “Often eat raw food” (37.7%), followed by “Feel uncomfortable stomach” (25.3%), “Self-treatment every year” (15.5%), and prevention from parasitic infection (14.1%). About 67.5% of the participants were treated with anti-parasitic drugs at least one time a year, and anti-parasitic drugs were commonly bought from pharmaceutical medicine stores (40.8%) and drugs sold on street markets (32.0%). More details are shown in Figure 2.
  12. Praziquantel, Albendazole - common usage. Just ask your pharmacy re dosage. It's part of the daily routine for pharmacies in Thailand. Don't go down the rabbit hole - you'll encounter online obsessives who take things too far. In my case a parasite was picked up during a routine blood screening twelve years ago. Treatment was as described above and it was that experience educated and encouraged me to join Thais in routine consumption of anti-parasite medications. To clarify re Steady Eddy, the cause is unknown so I'm not saying its parasitic.

  14. Parliament is sovereign. That's what the soldiers fought for above all. The freedom of British citizens to elect their own representatives and not serve a dictator.
  15. He certainly will, especially as a registered Democrat and Democrat appointed judge. He'll be furious if this results in a mistrial.
  16. You'd have a point except it was the judge that brought it up. So that means you have no point. Therefore your comment is pointless.
  17. That's a wee shame. Maybe you should get a new hobby.
  18. Obama got a Nobel Peace prize for nothing. Even Obama accepted that he didn't deserve the prize. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/8299824.stm The Nobel committee realized they had made a mistake, and it was a dreadful mistake that robbed the Nobel prize of much of it's credibility. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34277960 In my opinion, what destroyed the Nobel Peace prize as the ultimate badge of honor was its failure to award Jared Kushner the prize for his outstanding work re the Abraham Accords. To have four Muslim countries recognize Israel, and to have the Saudis open their airspace to Israeli civilian aircraft, was incredible.
  19. I'm astounded by this comment: "Thai private health insurance leaves a lot to be desired to put it mildly and few Thais bother with it." This is the polar opposite of my experience. I know not a single Thai of moderate and above income who doesn't have private health insurance. In fact, over 25% of Thais purchase private cover. To possess a private policy and to access private hospitals is a fundamental drive within Thai society.
  20. Okay, discuss morality. This American patriot contacted the FBI who failed to act. He could just have sold the hard drive to Russia, cos we all know how much Democrats love a wee Russia conspiracy. But he didn't. He didn't rest until the FBI acted. Was that a moral act? ps - did you know the FBI failed to act ( no chance you knew ). Cos you'll be another guy commenting on something you don't know about.
  21. American patriots will be interested to know: The repairman's first reaction was to contact the FBI as he knew that the contents of the laptop were a national security issue. American patriots will be appalled to know that the FBI ignored him. The guy knew he was sitting on massive strings of e-mails involving the former VP, Jill Biden, and other members of the Biden family. And the FBI ignored him. They only acted when third parties such as Adam Housley got involved, No doubt digger70 didn't know that the FBI ignored the repairman. This hard drive should have been removed from civilian ownership months before the FBI finally acted. The untold story here is a genuine failure of the FBI to protect potential national security assets
  22. The correct place to stop commenting is after - "No argument. I did not know about that." The Internet is polluted by people like you commenting on issues that they don't know about. It renders every comment you have made on this thread worthless.
  23. Thais routinely take it every six months and it kills most gut parasites ( I don't want to be so bold as to say all ). As I said, it's nothing to do with personal hygiene, it's food supply. Pork in particular and the Thai habit of eating raw prawns are common factors. Every time I leave Thailand I take anti-parasite medication with me and use it when I return home. It's usually a three to five day course.
  24. Finally, over the years I have continually stated: 1. There's no such thing as self-insurance. You are gambling - full stop. 2. NEVER ASSUME THAT YOU WILL BE FIT ENOUGH TO FLY HOME FOR TREATMENT. 3. Always share your insurance details with someone in Thailand and your home country as you MAY NOT BE IN A FIT STATE TO CONDUCT YOUR AFFAIRS. this time I'll add one more - Get in the habit of using anti-parasite medication. One girl who was part of my general social circle was diagnosed with a brain worm, commonly associated with undercooked pork. Prawns and some fish types are also a source of worms. Your personal hygiene is not the issue, it's the food supply. I don't think they've got to the bottom of Eddy's infection yet and there was some suggestion it could have been a parasite. If you live in Thailand long term, go get the cleansing medication from the pharmacy. Better safe than sorry.
  25. And before the thread descends into a bickering session. 1. He thought he had a stroke. 2. It turned out it was a brain infection. 3. Yes, he is insured. 4. And the insurance company are directing the treatment. It's been a real rollercoaster for Eddy and he did make a couple of mistakes along the way, but consider the fact he was ill before being harsh.
