  1. I love me live Dire Straits. Sultans Of Swing performed at Hammersmith Odeon, London in '83 off of Alchemy Live.
  2. Mark Knopfler and The Dire Straits perform Calling Elvis live off of their '93 Live On The Night DVD. Featuring a dual drum set up.
  3. I hadn't heard, either. May 1st, it was, at a ripe 84. Well, that calls for a tribute and I'll pay my respects with the hauntingly beautiful The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald, which was a tribute to those 29 seafarers who went to their watery graves on Nov. 10, '75 in Lake Superior.
  4. You'll hear a refrain from me on Sir Elton. I particularly loved his Americana themed '70 Tumbleweed Connection album. Country Comfort indeed, whilst sipping some Southern Comfort.
  5. Depeche Mode with Policy Of Truth off of their '90 Violator LP.
  6. The Jesus & Mary Chain with Just Like Honey off of their '85 Psychocandy LP.
  7. Gordon Lightfoot with the title track of his '74 Sundown album.
  8. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac performing Elmore James' Dust My Broom & Please Find My Baby live in Paris on New Year's Eve '68.
  9. Gil Scott Heron performs B Movie off of his '90 Tales of Gil Scott-Heron And His Amnesia Express live LP.

  12. Social Distortion with Drug Train off of their '90 self titled album.
  13. Billy Idol with Hot In The City off of his '82 self titled album.
  14. Graham Parker & The Rumour with the title track of their '76 Howlin' Wind album.
  15. The Antiguan soca band Onyan and Burning Flames with Island Girl (Anything For You) off of their '89 Me Na Freard album.
  16. The Verve with Bitter Sweet Symphony off of their '97 Urban Hymns CD.
  17. Big Head Todd & The Monsters with Bittersweet off of their '93 Sister Sweetly CD.
  18. Eric Burdon and Jimmy Witherspoon with I've Been Driftin' / Once Upon A Time off of their '71 Guilty! album.
  19. The Animals with an awesome cover of Howlin' Wolf's '56 Smoke Stack Lightning. Off of their '66 Animalism LP.
  20. Mark Knopfler and The Dire Straits perform Local Hero - Wild Theme live off of their '93 On The Night DVD. One of the sweetest instrumentals I've ever heard. A true musical masterpiece. I had found this tune on the old peer to peer music file sharing site Limewire back in the early 2000's. The song was mistitled Water Of Love. It wasn't until many years later that I ran across it on YT and learned the real title of it.
