    Interesting too:

    In the 2018/19 harvest year, a total of around 185 million tons of sugar

    were produced worldwide. The German Südzucker Group is one of the

    largest sugar producers in the world.

    (There is a lot of sugar beet productiononly  in Germany. I think they allow importing Thai sugar

    with very heavy taxes.   BavariaFirst. - Bavaria is a Federal State of Germany.)

     

    Returning to the OP reporting 'PM2.5 levels between 25 and 52

    micrograms per cubic metre'.  

    That means an AQI between 78 (moderate) and 142

    (unhealthy for Sensitive Groups).

    Rainfall and flooding info:

    Isan: Heavy rainfall occurred in some areas throughout the week

    with very heavy rainfall in some areas on 15 and 17 Oct. Flood

    occurred at Nakhon Ratchasima province on 12-16 Oct., at Si Sa Ket

    province on 13 Oct., at Ubon Ratchathani province on 15 Oct., at

    Chaiyaphum province on 17 Oct.

    Eastern: Flood occurred at Sa Kaeo province on 12-15 Oct., at

    Chachoengsao province on 13-15 Oct., at Chonburi and Prachinburi

    provinces on 18 Oct.

    (Cambodia and Vietnam were hit too.)
