  1. As someone in this thread previously said, the loyalist and native Irish/republican communities

I`m curious as to what your defintion of "native Irish" is, I would contend no such thing exists.

Only a dumb plastic paddy yank, with little knowledge of Irish history, seeking some kind of identitiy, would spew such bs.

Only a dumbo in denial would ask such a silly question, Idjits have their own history it seems.

  2. Turning all the taps on for a few seconds and flushing the commodes would get the air out...don't take but a few minutes to see how that works out.

But to me it sounds like you are losing water pressure allowing air to get back into the house water lines especially since you have already turned some taps on and the spluttering keeps coming back. You sure your water pump is working properly?

No I'm not. Guess I need a plummer.

Open the furthest and highest tap and let the water in very slowly, it should push the air out. If you cant regulate the flow, open all your taps and shut them off one at a time. The closest to the pump to the highest. good luck.

  3. Villages up in the hills are several degrees cooler than down in the valleys... all year round. They are mostly hill-tribes who are looked down upon by thais as second-class people. Although hard-working and not wasteful they are still poorer than the Thais and have less opportunities to work at good wages. The kids wear clothing out in a year so yes, they do need new each year.

Those who sit back and scoff about 'where has the last lot gone..' do not deserve the plenty they enjoy with their superior attitudes..... I feel sorry for them...and probably never donated a thing in their lives.

OK, so that explains the kids clothes. What about everything else? People donate BLANKETS every year. I have blankets bought in Thailand that are 10 years old and they are perfectly fine. I've donated probably 50 of them over the years. Yet, these hill tribe people can't seem to make a blanket last a single year, nor do they prepare for the winter before it happens.

I no longer donate because I finally came to the conclusion that some people are beyond help, as they do not want to help themselves. We have the same type in my home country, as all of you do too. If you know winter is coming, as it has all of your life, then you will make an effort to keep your blankets. However, they know people will give them more, so... round and round we go.

The donations should stop. Instead, they should be taught how to prepare for winter, how to use natural resources to insulate their homes / shacks / huts. And of course, taught not to get rid of any winter clothes or blankets they currently have.

Most of us come from places in the world where our great grand parents survived real winters in freezing temperatures, and they had to learn how to do it. Fast forward 200 years and head to the mountains of Asia, and it is as if they just figured out how to make fire.

They set fire to the blankets........keeps them really warm for 10 minutes.

    better keep your day job.

  4. The taxi wouldn,t take me to my destination, I solved this by asking another taxi to take me. In 26 years i haven,t walked to my destination after being refused, just ask another Taxi. too easy. My good looks might have something to do with it though, sorry for the rest of you who haven,t been as fortunate in life.

So what youre telling us is they wear thick winter clothing all year till its worn out rather than wear it when it gets a bit chilly for a week in december? No wonder they feel the cold up there. Im off up there in a week or so to enjoy riding round the mountains without sweating my nads off in a mesh jacket n kevlar jeans....and no. Its not cold up there all year round.

on Internon its cold everyday, maybe your making a mountain out of a mole hill. get up there and see for yourself.

  6. Australian government just want your tax dollars to throw away on wars and summits , They are there for themselves and they dont give a rats about you , as long as you pay pay pay.

The also need money to give to all the illegals in Australia like America in that way

Give away taxpayers money to illegals

how about saving Tax money by not going to the Refugees countries and blowing them up, Im sure its a winner.

  7. Sending refugees back is nothing new. In the 70's thousands of Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laos were sent back. In the 80's and 90's how many Mung tribes people were sent back to Laos to die.

How many people are returned 'south of the border' by the USA ?

Is there any country which accepts all illegal immigrants without question ?

Sure, Uighurs are a special case, but so is just about every illegal.

Any "blood" will be on the hands of the traffickers ( and they might be Thai ? ).

Many of the photos show a surprisingly high proportion of women and children, considering these people are usually considered to be so family centric.

Will the menfolk follow on in the next shipment ?

Maybe the two husbands were on that plane. Men first and all that. How many wives can a Muslim male have?

As many as a rich thai, ask around.

  8. Asian countries are the most corrupt in the world, they are experts from top to bottom,it will never be eradicated, it almost defines them, forms them,it's who they are. The powers that be know it but they have to show they are trying to get some brownie points.

Jeez, and their I was thinking the banks were the most corrupt, which i also thought were mainly NOT IN ASIA.

  9. This thread has turned into Thai bashing...

I have bought roses from children...I will never miss a few baht...some destitute family may have food on the table because of their child selling roses...

GGT, I appreciate your kindness, its nice of you. But have you ever thought what will be their life and future just after few days when they are little older??? Unimaginable future will transform them into a different person with different profession at the age when they were suppose to go to school and play with others.

Call me what ever, but I hate those parents who let their children lead a dangerous life so that they can have food on table. they should have known and taken the responsibility as parents.

You knoiw what goes on in Burma? bomba,slave.murder.sad.png

  10. how many junta,s have ended in happiness, most of the population dont read so cant make an informed opinion.

The literacy rate in Thailand is 86-87%. Ability to read has nothing to do with making an informed opinion. Ability to read objectively does - and the "most" you refer to above would appear to be trying to do just that in the aftermath of the relentless Shinawatra propaganda onslaught which twisted people's minds.

That may be so but in my village they LOVE Shin, having an ability to read would help tremendously in trying to sort the buds from the chaff. The plebs, that i roll with wouldnt give a rats about politics, same in my home country.

  11. very easy to make which my fellow apprentices and i did, 12 guage on a spear gun out of quality SSteel. Only used it to blow up floating watermelons. why so called criminals dont get their own made has got me stumped.

What was the method used to fire the weapon. Was there a pressure device activated when placed firmly against an object or did you fire it by hand?

    Very handy against shark.

Yes ,just a striker pin, had to hit before firing.

  12. how many junta,s have ended in happiness, most of the population dont read so cant make an informed opinion.

So a person can not form their opinion on their own personal experience and circumstance?

If you want the big picture it isn,t in the Moo Ban. I dont think I,ve ever seen a personal library in thailand. had a lot of junta experience have you, good result or bad in your opinion?

  13. Oh Good...by stop at such low amounts....make it 300 or 500 per cent increases. Its ok, only the stupid will buy! I made a mess by investing in land and properties in thailand....yes, it seems that your properties are appreciating in value...trying selling it.....lol....no takers even after psoting ads for two years and even when you lower it to what you initailly bought. Try renting it.....lol! even better.....you cannot get the rentals you expect and what you get gives you pittance in ROI! There is no market now for properties priced over 4 million baht and retals over 25,000 baht a month. The emergence of a lot of small sized accomodations by groups like Ideo(Ananda), LPN, AP (life, inspire, rhythmn), etc etc have killed the market. A ot of thais who bought via bank loans are struggling to even rent these out to cover the monthly payments. The only people benefiting are the banks.....even the developers are beginning to suffer. Upcountry, land prices in the remore areas are going up....but thats all...even trying to develop these alnds into commercial or residential projects will get you no where. In resort cities....the market is still good but not for long.

On another evil note....I really hope one day will come when areas like Sukhumvit and Silom, Ploenchit will sink or better still, a strong earthquake will wipe out all the ares there...will be fun!

Is it just me or do they just keep building and then the condos/apartments are left virtually empty?? Same in Pattaya & even where I live in Chaam/Hua Hin. So many empty houses in Thailand it's amazing!! Must be a lot of money being laundered for those horrible Chinese pigs!

Yet rentals don't seem to come down in my neck of the woods! Not easy to find something decent for under 30/40k per month

Do you know if this happens all around SE Asia or just in Thailand (empty properties)?

    horrible little man
