  1. Could the drug using prince from Bhutan be atoning for his BKK transgressions

I think a look at a map and then a Google would have helped here.. Seems you have your Himalayan lands confused.

They are talking about the Kingdom of Bhutan of which this fine upstanding man is the present king.

King Jigme Wangchuk and his Queen Jetsun Pema

Could the drug using prince from Bhutan Nepal be atoning for his BKK transgressions? Maybe?

Yes , you are correct, I thought I,d have a go a Bhutan, for kicking out 200,000 people, but in my haste I have shown myself to be, not on to it. Quickly looked in google to find any way to salvage my line, and all I could get was the exiled 200,000.

  2. Glad to see the Army properly employed in the defence of the Nation. A trained, lean mean fighting machine would be ready to take his own life when given his next posting to the Damrong-dharma centre! "Sergeant Somchai, although we need your fighting skills to help combat the terrorism in the South, we have a priority posting for you to help housewives get their money back they stupidly leant to friends over 5 years ago."

how horrid for you, no friends to help out stupidly.

  3. "SOME FARMERS in the North yesterday lodged a complaint with the National Human Rights Commis-sion against a crackdown on land encroachment"

Are these Northern Farmers that highly educated and organised, that they can petition the NRC, or is there someone behind the scenes pulling the strings and taking advantage of these poor people ....AGAIN!!

Phone or fax springs to mind, maybe even someone walked in the front Office of the UN and filled out a Petition. Thats how we roll in the North, Organised.thumbsup.gif

  4. Unreal comments, I knew a father in our Village who killed his Autistic son last new year, he knew no one would help and his son was a very big man and extremely strong. The father was arrested, then as he wouldn,t eat, the Police let him go home where he starved himself to death.Grief is very powerful and some of the comments on TV are absolute the bottom of the cesspit.Grow up <deleted>.

  5. This is such a heart breaking story, but I am sure that if the reward was upped to 1 Million Baht, the children would soon be safe again with their father, as the woman would soon be ratted out, by her family or her friends.

Hopefully, the end result will be a happy one for the poor children and their dad.

You poor soul, has the Mother reminded you of your own ratting family.

  6.  It hurts to see the injustice. There are so many wonderful Islamic utopias around the middle east/N Africa that these southern Thai muslims would fit in so well, and live a happy(if short) life. They can play bombing, raping, incesting to their little hearts content. Would it be that difficult to send them closer to their paradise? Nice big tanker, pack 'em on and off to Somalia where they can revel in the greatness of an Islamic society. It would have to be a one way trip only, I'm guessing after 10 minutes on the ground they would be wailing to return to what they left behind in Thailand.

You dont have to be Muslim to kill, so what Utopia would Buddist,s get sent to in your view. Southerm Thai Muslims are not all the same dude.

  7. According to OP the Imam said: " the protest was solely about the humanitarian situation in Gaza." Further he added: "The protest has no connection with Thai politics."

For a respected and intelligent Leader it is an act of duplicity, selective memory and/or a complete unwillingness to acknowledge the fact that his spiritual charges just killed and maimed a number of Thai kids in the South.

Actually they are doing this on a perpetual basis.

If the Imam is beyond the politics - he shouldn't have led the demonstration. That is duplicity on a grand scale.

Shame to him and to the Thai rulers for letting it happen.

Politics cannot be separate from religion, blaming all as believers of the same mould, doesnt take into account Diversity. Ergo, to hate and want to see the end of the Zionists Murders does not make me anti Semetic.

  8. "According to investigators, both riders had criminal records. Waraporn was currently wanted on a warrant to face theft charges while Kitthanachai had a previous arrest for drug possession."

    Lovely.

And one has to sit with these scum on the bike...

I wonder if you can say to a Thai taxi rider, pardon me, are you by chance aThief or Speed User before one actually sat down or ask first. Think the speed part might screw ones chances of getting a quick lift.
