Show where this person was patting himself on the back or you just making nonsense up.
25 minutes ago, georgey said:It's even more ridiculous when you bear in mind that the numbers people expend so much effort (and a little "intelligence") to predict are, by definition, wrong, probably wrong by a huge margin.
People can only go on the figures they are given and the trend that was happening. I and I am sure others do not want to see the numbers go up. I am as upset that the numbers have increased but you seem to have taken offense that people are talking about this. Whats wrong with you.

As I predicted last week 20,000 was coming. It didn't take much intellect. The question next is when will it hit 30,000? By the end of Next week or August?
Either way it isn't good for Thailand or the people.

I really do worry about these type of articles. Of course there will be concern and for good reason. A very poor and slow vaccination roll out programme by the government and an extremely weak support package for businesses and people.

you try to belittle me.
You do that all on your own.
I guess your understanding of the term technically isn't fully comprehensible. Anyway time to move on.

We please explain to me, here is what you wrote.
I thought you could have worked that out but I guess not. So you have two passports one Thai and one British. So you can't use both. Hence technically illegal to have both in Thailand to be used as a joint Citizenship.

No, you said dual citizenship was illegal. ????
You obviously didn't understand what my meaning about the situation was about.

It's illegal for me to use my British passport in Thailand.
Only last week I mentioned it was technically illegal and you said I didn't know what I was stalking about .

Absolutely devastating effects worldwide .....
and if it's proven that CHINA IS TO BLAME ....... what next ? what will be done ? PUNISH ? how ?
We can always rely on you to deflect from the fact that Thailand has made a <deleted> mash of this. How many tests is the country doing compared to Italy, UK and the US and so on. You are an apologist of the worse kind.

I thought you had a British passport which would put you as a foreigner. Or does it only work when it suits you.

I don't think you need a survey to tell everyone that. The question is what will be done about it. Probably nothing.

I will still stick with my prediction of 20,000 official cases per day by the end of next week.

I totally agree with you on this. Imagine we might even get some more nutters saying how good the PM is. and how well he has managed the pandemic. Heavens forbid.

It's more a case of racists who don't know what racism is and try to accuse everyone else as if that in some way mitigates their own racism.
There are 3 kinds of stupid - Stupid, stupider and Racist. The third category is usually so stupid they don't know its themselves being racist not others.
I agree with you. I have come across quite a few Thais who stated they didn't like black people as an example. They did go on to say that they are not racist but just don't like them. When you explain what racism actually means they either shut up over the childish face thing or look puzzled.
I know we can get this in other countries and cultures but this is a thread about Thai racism/discrimination.

So are you going to rebuke your UK citizenship as you mentioned?
Plus anyone who lives in Thailand and isn't blind knows that there is a systemic two tier system for Thais and Foreigners. Many people can give you countless examples so trying to defend that is ridiculous.

How many plans have actually shown to have worked. Why do the pans continually become unworkable. i would suggest that the teams involved lack an international mindset and what actually would really attract people to Thailand.
I am all for Thailand improving and benefiting but the plans put forward, especially recently are 'pie in the sky' and really unworkable and unattractive for many people. I would suggest look more at middle earners and not just the high end all the time. I would also say that those involved in these schemes, need to be realistic and whilst Thailand is the centre of the universe to them, it isn't to most.
That way they may just make a success out of a plan one day.

How about a genuine concern of where the pandemic is heading and worried of the uncertainty and the increasing numbers having an impact on the country.
No they don't. It is a forum for sharing ideas and this topic is the most important for many people.
I don't know why your post comes across as one that is negative for people showing concern of the situation and wondering how many people will be affected next.
