Just a quick one......
Do Thais have to take a driving test? Do they use L plates , any qualified driving schools in Thailand that actually teach driving skills ?
If no to any of the above, nuff said really what do expect then !!
More deaths/accidents absolutely certain !
Yes to all the above actually.
Interesting, many thanks, never seen anubody with L plates on the there vehicles?. It fair to say there arent many learner drivers out here OR they just dont bother .
Cheers

While there's no solution in sight maybe current thaivisa members, who take this so close to heart, can come up with some new methods of delivering their cause to future potential tourists?
I dont know what would work but perhaps a grassroots effort like a dedicated website or something (without bias/stereotyping) that gives the known stats on these events (similar to the accident numbers they publish in the news after songkran). Either way the last 3 years I've been watching people's concerns on this issue being repeated with nothing happening and a new approach is required (if this topic is of great importance to yourself).
Personally it doesnt affect myself so much as I dont have a business here and I have my own transportation. But there definitely seems to be more than a handful of posters that are capable of tackling the issue in a more meaningful way yielding results more to their liking?
Great idea dedicated websites put it all online so people can read every victim reports ,media reports , forum links, dedicated sections for each scam let everyone see the truth about these crimes and corruption tourists to Thailand face daily.
plus 1 !!!!!

My local vet has just sold me 60 fish oil tablets, looks like cod liver oil to me!.
Our Siberian Husky had some skin problems, most of his hair fell out, apparently Husky's can suffer from dermatitis issues and our vet suggested it may be due to hormonal problems.
Anyway over the course of this year I have contributed substantially to her bank balance by purchasing just about every type of skin medication there is in Thailand.
Will take your advice on fish oil tabs, oh and the Husky is recovering well.
Exaclty. i spent many baht on my dogs skin condtion, thats why I use Yumega, it works for my dogs 100%
Why change something you KNOW works !!
I dont minding spending money ONLY when i know it works and can actually see the results,
cheers

Why Some Women Have Dogs And Not Husbands
1. A dog is always willing to listen to you—without trying to solve all your problems.
2. Dogs will eat anything you give them—happily and without complaining.
3. Dogs don't have mothers-in-law who find fault with everything you do (or don't do) for their "precious boy."
4. A dog will never ask if he can buy a boat.
5. Dogs do not spend 5 hours playing golf or video games.
6. Dogs are happy to watch romantic comedies, rather than football.
7. Dogs are loyal. Even if they hump your best friend's leg, they will do it in front of you and not try to go home with her.
8. Dogs will never complain about how much you spend on personal grooming.
9. A dog will never contradict you in front of your child or give you small appliances for your birthday or Christmas.
10. A dog will never use all the hot water and leave soppy towels on the bathroom floor.
11. Dogs think you are just as attractive now as you were 20 lbs. ago.
12. A dog will kiss you when you are crying your eyes out—not accuse you of being "manipulative."
13. A dog does not believe he can fix anything just because he has a Y chromosome. His manhood will not be threatened when you call a plumber.
And last, but not least:
I4. You can neuter a dog anytime you want.
meeeeeooooowwwwww sbk

Why Some Men Have Dogs And Not Wives:
1. The later you are, the more excited your dogs are to see you.
2. Dogs don't notice if you call them by another dog's name.
3. Dogs like it if you leave a lot of things on the floor.
4. A dog's parents never visit.
5. Dogs agree that you have to raise your voice to get your point across.
6. You never have to wait for a dog; they're ready to go 24 hours a day.
7. Dogs find you amusing when you're drunk.
8. Dogs like to go hunting and fishing.
9. A dog will not wake you up at night to ask, "If I died, would you get another dog?"
10. If a dog has babies, you can put an ad in the paper and give them away.
11. A dog will let you put a studded collar on it without calling you a pervert.
12. If a dog smells another dog on you, they don't get mad. They just think it's interesting.
13. Dogs like to ride in the back of a pickup truck.
And last, but not least:
14. If a dog leaves, it won't take half of your stuff.
Nice One lol lol

Hi.
Saw your post, Unfortunately I cant have coffee as I have three dogs already... I would love to but three is enough for me !!
But was interested in your sentence about treadmill as I need to get my three fit etc, I am not lazy but i live on small village and the dogs need more exercise than i could possibly give.
I have a Doberman, GSD, and small Thai Street Dog
Any tips on treadmill would be great, The two dogs are 8 months old, the Thai dog is a 15 week old puppy i rescued ( maybe a bit young for treadmill?)
Is it easy to get a dog on a treadmill and to enjoy it ? I am looking for a treadmill as we speak
Looking forward in hearing from you
Kindest Regards

Cooked rice is fine for dogs. Cook in a water with plenty of meaty bits in it so the smell is absorbed by the rice. Rice based dog foods is the main stay of Western manufacturers specialist diets of "sensitive" dogs, often in combination with lamb meat.
The Yumega is an Linoleic acid & Omega 3/6 oil from Saffflower & flaxseed. You can get the same by feeding ground up flax seeds, some sunflower oil and oily fish, which is cheaper and I suggest it's better overall.
There is a fur conditioning pill for dogs sold in Thailand called Furmeg 3, IIRC it's 10 Baht a pop from vets, but again it's just fish oil.
Hi. was very interested to read your reply, I looked on the Yumega Internet site and there is no mention of "Linolic acid", another problem I would ask is how you would you give the correct levels of ingredients to make up the correct quantity of the sixe of the dog ? The product gives recommend dosages of the combined ingredients for different size dogs
Would love to get the stuff cheaper, Tried all the fish/rice/oil remedies etc its definatly cheaper , it didn't really help., I then tried this Yumega stuff from recemmendations from friends in UK, three weeks BIG improvement.
I was really getting fed up with the dogs skin condiion and took a calculated gamble, which so far is paying off !! I hope it contines
I suppose you get what you pay for
Any information/advice greatly appreciated
What is Linolic Acid ? Is it Good for dogs ?
Cheers
