I've been watching this unfold from the UK, fascinating stuff. I've been following the posts from Barrow and the protest hashtags, plus Voice TV, The Reporters, Bangkok Post live, Spring News and other feeds.
Not sure how this will play out, my Thai friends Facebook profiles are full of supportive posts and I'm sharing posts. Hardly any coverage in the west, being ignored largely as protests are not the current agenda in Europe.
I do admire the energy of the protesters for standing up for themselves and something they believe in.

Not surprised, massive drop in GDP and lots of angry people. I saw a stream in Khon Kaen last night, that was huge. I'm on voice tv stream at present, my old stomping ground at Lat Phrao.

Please elaborate. Are you a virologist or did you just simply google ?
I went onto academic research papers and have listened to leading virologists talking about the Ct value used in the tests. You can do the same, RT-PCR Ct value and the amplication to find infectious genetic material. I'm not posting any links on here, but if you are interested I can send them to you via PM.

Just gets me thinking there is a lot more Covid cases in Thailand than the official figures...
86% of those tested in the UK over the summer had no symptoms, which must make them immune or just had a very low viral load of the virus. That leaves 14% with symptoms and will be from mild to severe. There more that I have researched into the RT-PCR test and Ct value amplification, but I'll keep that to myself as people will ask me for links.

Nowhere is covid free and the tests are quite unreliable. I doubt they were infectious, just 45x amplified genetic material of remnants of the virus.

To ask a question of those who argue the case of lockdowns, mask wearing, etc., ridicule those who want to get on with life, and espouse the doomsday nature of this virus have any of you watched this video? And if you have what's your response? Would sincerely like to get that response.
You won't get a sensible reply from them as the issue is too polarized and a lot of them have been brainwashed by the MSM coverage.

Quite true, they took a knee for them and used batons against us. And the crowd was mixed on Saturday, all colours, all religions.

You can’t be serious with that comment. Really? It was over in the UK back in June. 10x more people are dying from flu and pneumonia. Coronavirus doesn’t even appear now in the top 10 causes of death. But the government is keeping this going, bringing in even more restrictions based on laughable science.
Dr John Lee appeared on the UK radio station talkRadio this morning with some good analysis. (I believe this link is allowed as it is a Government licensed station subject to broadcasting rules)
Just posted this on my Facebook, another Dr who is speaking out.

Covid is finished already .The real death rate is now a very low flat curve Worldwide.
D Mike Yeadon in the UK says this pandemic finished months ago, if not spring in this year. This 2nd wave happening is driven by false positives with the PCR test and the fact it's now regular flu and cold season will just cloud what is going on. The deaths in the UK are recorded as covid-19 if tested positive up to 28 days, but what is not known if they were infectious or not. Seeing as 96% have serious multiple underlying conditions if would helpful to know if those who have died showed any symptoms or not or just tested positive. There is a big difference to just testing positive or being infectious.

People need to realise this is not going to end, this is just the start, there is no end to this pandemic. You can wear your masks and social distance, it will not make any difference, after the 2nd wave will be the 3rd wave and then the vaccine, then something else.
Klaus Schwab from the WEF said this is the new normal and pre covid will Never return, take heed of those words, because they are in control at present...

You wasn't there, so you have no opinion on the matter. And you don't need to wear masks in the open air.

Yesterday's protest were all races, all religions and all colours, not far right. In fact I would say most were liberals in nature, all the one's I talked to were and normal people.

To my mind there's certainly more here than meets the eye. Sinister is the word that comes to my mind. For instance, there seems to be no rational reason (though I'm sure many will disagree . . . but that's O.K.) why a particular potential drug would be pushed so hard against.
A vaccine for a virus that most people don't get ill from or have even contracted. It's not a conspiracy, AstraZeneca already have 3 billion doses preordered and GSK sold 300 million doses to the EU.
I'm not anti vaccine, but it has to be thoroughly tested and proved to why we need it, neither has been done so far.

Back at ya. Research has shown that wearing masks, social distancing and washing hands frequently is the most effective way of reducing the spread of Covid. A large crowd of covidiots being dicks is the best way to increase the spread of covid.
That's if there is any covid-19 in that area to spread, that is what the problem is currently about, false positive tests and infectious vs non infectious cases. Just wearing masks for no reason and crashing economies will not do anyone any good, this situation is not going away anytime soon.

Maybe you should open your eyes and do some research. Not everything is as it seems, authority needs to be questioned. There was nothing wrong with yesterday, I've been in big crowds before for football matches, raves and even Chinese new year in Chinatown BKK this year.

Preplanned economic collapse, The Great Reset, that is my theory and others are thinking the same. That's why the German doctor was arrested yesterday, the internet chatter on YouTube about his arrest is quite fiery language. I thought yesterday was more like a revolutionary movement that is gathering momentum, ordinary people that need to protest about virus control measures and a government that is corrupt. Mostly hand made placards, not much organisation, but raw energy and uniting people.

Thanks for that post. Throughout this pandemic I've questioned the legitimacy of official numbers, whether deaths or cases or test results. There's so much obvious chicanery afoot with this pandemic. Politics. money and power no doubt play their roles. Way too many stories pointing out inconsistencies and outright fraud to be found.
I always questioned it even when I was in bangkok, it just doesn't feel right. I was told last week that if I went to the protest I would not be welcome to sit with some people in the pub anymore, fine with me, I believe in free speech and the right to protest.
When I get back I'll post some of the photos I took yesterday, give you a different insight to what was going on.

It's official! First batch of foreign STV tourists arriving from Shanghai today - but no red carpet!

Heathrow are testing on arrival for certain airlines from today with a new test which supposedly more accurate than the PCR test. I don't know why Thailand is dragging it's the feet with this issue, it's pretty obvious the country needs tourists and money flowing into the economy. Apparently the UK is a high risk country and won't be accepted for STV at present, it's only high risk because the fools test people without symptoms, Thailand has got it right, just don't bother testing and it goes away 555. Tens of 1000s protesters, but no covid, hmm.
