  1. wasnt it at darasamuth last year that a bunch of parents had to fight for months with the school board because the teachers were persuaded that fifteen is written 'five-teen' and would not back down? When a simple google of "five-teen" would of resulted in nothing, if teachers were competent enough to take care of dead mices/cockroach or any other dead animal, they would of done this.

  2. goddamnit thais. All you have to do to fix this traffic is to block any car from entering the left lane. only motorbikes. The only reason it gets heavy there is because when the cutter go back in the middle lane, it stops everyone to a halt for 5secs.

Also teaching thais to accelerate faster when light turns green would help

I really dont want to go through an underpass with a bunch of deadly saladeang going the wrong way

  3. i own both are personally i feel that bikes should of the right to park closer since they are not wasting as much space/creating as much traffic and pollution when going close to their house.

Like at tesco, most people are from 1km to 5km around, no need for a car, yet all the cars parking next to the curb make no sense, unless they are getting something big from homepro which they arent.

  4. Affordability does come into it, but so does the level of priority you give your children.

I have wife (housewife / homemaker / full-time mother), 4-bed house, pool and a Honda. My yearly income is 800K baht per year, but I still prioritise my childs education, so 240K goes straight out on school fees.

sadly many members here are the opposite and they value their anti-nanny state view so much that they'd rather spend more on beer and give their kids a thai education.

My post on this always get reported by these "fathers" and then deleted. They only last an hour or so but i get a lot of 'likes'

I have no idea how you can spend 240k out of 800k on education, good for you. If i was in your situation and could not figure out how to do it i would simply go back home, which is what i am doing when the oldest turns 4

  5. its easy, bring something usefull and of no value. Like whiskey will be downed with horrendous soda water or cola.

Bring the grand mother a nice decorated miror to take off her grey hair and put makeup. Bring some TOOLS to the grandfather if he is handy, otherwise maybe a fleshlight(srsly) or nice sandals/boots to impress the other old ppl.

Chrome for their car? any chrome accessory means you are hiso in thailand, penis size are small so manliness is calculated with the amount of chrome you have

  6. Nightlife in phuket is terrible. Northen phuket/offshore island are not part of phuket.

Thailand has tens of thousands of resorts, surely a lot of them that are better than those in phuket. Phuket has nothing to offer that isnt offered somewhere else with genuine smiles.

  7. khao lak, phangna, krabi, koh samet are all more respectable and better looking.

khao lak if you want to bored out of your mind!!!

married couple. Getting drunk with other fat old men watching 20 year old ugly girls is not what they call 'entertainment' In fact thats a boring way to pass an evening for most people of this world.

  8. According to the Nationchanel website, the wife has confessed to the murder at 3 am Thai time on 21/02/12. Apparently she confessed to conspiring with her brother-in-law to murder her husband, after police separated her and her mother and found their stories didn't match.

The motive given by the wife was that she and her brother-in-law were angry that her husband didn't show her mother any respect and regularly insulted her.

The murder was carried out by the brother-in-law at 9pm on the 19th while the wife was upstairs asleep and Mr Biro was downstairs watching TV drinking beer and had fallen asleep drunk. The police were not informed of the murder until some 7 hours later at 4am the next morning (by which time rigor mortis had set in).

Police Major General Somchai Uamthanon, Chumphon Police Commander, believes the case to be a simple one, sparked by having the mother insulted. [hmm...]

The brother-in-law is still on the run.
