Had a colleague that went down with COVID last week. Same week ate a kinder surprise egg and ended up visiting the toilet numerous times for two days. Found out the day after it was an egg with the same date as the infected eggs. COVID and salmonella poisoning at the same time is not fun as far as i can understand......

When i compare Denmark and Thailand, Thailand does seem to have a prolonged period of omicron wave, which is a bit weird. Here in Denmark we had a massive surge in Dec and January, and then it started to rapidly go down in February. We dropped ALL restrictions in Denmark at Feb 2 when we were almost at the top of peaks, but Thailand kept on rising. Here they estimated that more than 70% of the Danes had omicron in Dec-march, which gave a combo herd immunity from the virus and vaccines, so i wonder if Thailand are prolonging the problem by keeping some restrictions in place. All i know is that it is nice to live in a country that had zero restrictions for more than 2 months. Hopefully Thailand reach that point in near future, so they too get back to a normal life where covid is not headlines anymore.

If the Russians in Thailand want their normal life back, they might consider to start a revolution within their own borders. The Ukrainians showed how that is done in 2014 in the Maidan revolution. Leaders are only as strong as their followers. Without followers they are just persons without power. So kick Putin out the door and you might see progress....

I'm impressed how well Ukraine are doing against the Russian army which thankfully seems to be in a very bad shape. I just fear what Putin has up his sleeve. I think he has an even bigger problem with Losing face, compared to some Thai "politicians" and he will probably do everything it take to come out victorious from this war. If Ukraine captures a ton of the Russian soldiers i wouldn't be surprised if the Russians deliberately shelled those camps, to blaim Ukraine of mass murdering the Russian prisoners of war. Just to have an excuse to escalate the war and using even more horrifying weapon's in the arsenal. But no matter what I'm forever thankful for the Ukrainians that are fighting for the freedom in Europe. Hopefully Putin realize he is fighting a lost war before it explodes info WW3.

Wouldn't be surprised if some Russians were looking for booze. After main Denmark were liberated in WW2, The Russians occupied Bornholm, a danish island, for a year until they left. They were liberators since they pushed out Germany from the island and overall they had a good reputation. To be honest, much are speculations at this time, since even the experts have no idea how this will end. So i just cheer for the good ones, even if it's just speculations based on numerous stitched together intel.

It was basically a speculation, that if the news from ukraine are true and the russians are surrounded in Hostomel, Irpin and Bucha , and the ukrainians are having control over Makariv and Teterivske, then if they can get control again in Borodyanka and Ivankiv, the Russians would have a hell of a hard time getting reinforcements and supplies and it's estimated that there are between 20000 - 30000 russians at the frontline in those areas. I just hope parts of it are true, so a huge chunk of the russian army can be taken out of the equation. Not by killing them, but by having them surrender, which would be a huge loss of face for Putin. Especially if it's numbers in the thousands we're talking about.

Other reports claim that if they manage to surround those Russian troops and make them surrender, that's 20.000 Russians taken out of the equation. A lot of them were apparently part of that 40 mile convoy, so they have to be pretty exhausted and fatigued. That would give the Ukrainians a lot of fighting spirit if they manage to make them surrender. Fingers crossed they succeed. I just wonder where are they going to place 20.000 Russians and feed them as well in time of war, when supply lines are a big issue for the Ukrainians as well.

The war lasted about a month in Ukraine and 1000 civilians officially were killed by Russian bombs in that period, which is a complete tragedy. Meanwhile in Thailand the same number of civilians dies in traffic and that's just daily life.

The info was in the post. Yesterday it was 6300 positives from 33000 total PCR tests. Today it's 5000 postitives from 22000 tests which is approx 22.5% We scaled down the daily PCR tests quite a lot. In January we did more than 200.000 PCR per day. So it's still here and quite a lot of it, since we still have 5000 positives from just 22000 tests. But we chose to live with it instead of living with restrictions, since it didn't create chaos in the hospitals. Here in Denmark we dropped all restrictions 7 weeks ago, and here is a chart from last 3 months. I pinpointed the day we dropped the mandatory masks and as you can see it didn't create any major spikes. It continued to rise a bit for a little while but that was also due to schools opening and such but it clearly shows that dropping the masks didn't cause any problems. We practically stopped taking about covid 19 here at work and in society. Now it's just like the flu or cold. If you feel sick you stay at home and that's it. We dropped all quick test centers, but still have PCR tests, but scaled it down. Isolating has also been cut to 4 days if you're tested positive, but you can go back to work at day 5, even if still you have minor symptoms. It's still here and yesterday we had 6300 cases from 33000 PCR tests, but life goes on without masks or restrictions.

I'm proud of the danish freedom fighters in WW2. Not so proud of the danish politicians that just gave up a few hours after Germany attacked Denmark the morning in April 9 1940. That lead to 5 years German occupation and that's not something i want for Ukraine. I was not born at these time, but the stories the elders told were enough for me to never want to be living in an occupied country. They lived through a somewhat "soft" occupation, but living In a country where danish traitors worked together with the German invaders, lead to living in a country where you never knew how to trust, if you were trying to sabotage the German invaders. ???? I hoped that convoy were stuck for good. Now if it's moving closer to Kyiv to surround the city, it's likely the Russians will start shelling Kyiv. Not good. Hopefully most of those 15000 anti tank weapons and stingers sent to Ukraine are already in place in Kyiv and surrounding small towns. i think we're approaching a point where NATO seriously have to interfer to stop the war crimes Russia are committing. no matter the cost, we can't just sit back and look at the Russians flattening a free democratic country here in Europe, while civilians are being murdered.
